    i just found out last week that mana were colorless!

    so that means that these situations wont work, right?:

    cliffrunner behemoth wont have haste and/or lifelink even if you have a mountain and/or a plains unless you have a red and/or white permanent on the field (not land)

    bloodhall ooze is practically useless during the early part of the game

    celestial purge cant get rid of a swamp/mountain

    what a ripoff!! i lost many battles because of these situations!!!!

    any comments?

    firstly, your Naya deck should be tempo and not aggro or control.

    knock out the Steward of Valeron, Druid of Anima, Knotvine Mystic, Mosstodon, and the Qasali Ambusher.

    add 4 Cliffrunner Behemoth, 4 Wild Nacatl, 2 Thornling, 2 Godsire, and 2 Meglonoth.

    replace Ajani with with either Garruk or Sarkhan vol (both would be best)

    knock out Giant Growth, Double Cleave, Soul's Fire, and Mana Cylix.

    add 4 Path to Exile, 3 Lapse of Certainty, 3 Fertile Ground, and 1 more Titanic Ultimatum.

    these alterations are probably contradictory to your budget, but these are the things that you need to change to make your Naya deck the best it can be.

    no offense, but i don't think it's a good card.

    Firstly, it has a way too high cc.

    Secondly, very few people are playing with sliver decks nowadays so no one would buy it that much.

    Lastly, only one of all the slivers' abilities can be used per turn, and if they do, the slivers wont be able to attack or block anymore.

    to Apollo 23: try adding more elspeths. it will be nice support to your exalted theme. oh yeah, you could also add mirror-sigil sergeant (it will only be useful if you have any blue permanent on the field).

    i dont think you can. rupture spire requires you to pay one colorless mana but reflecting pool could pay mana of any color only. although you can pay for rupture spire with filter lands.

    yeah, all you need is an opponent. you can play it even if your opponent has no cards in his hand, and has no creatures on his side of the field. your goal in playing it might only be for the life you gain and/of the life that your opponent loses. if it is, so be it.

    Alternatives:
    Mistmeadow Skulk - Lifelink + a nice protection

    Battlegrace Angel - Lifelink + Nice Finisher.

    And 20 creatures definitely seems enough...enough to consider Windbrisk Heights.


    i agree about the goldmane, and the windbrisk heights, but battlegrace angel is more effective in a bant exalted deck rather than a lifelink.

    and isn't overkill good?

    oh yeah, nip shouldn't be removed. its a nice t1 drop, and it easily grows into a stronger creature just for one mana. imagine a 7/7 on t2!! once you attack, either your opponent takes 7 and you gain 7, or your opponent blocks with a creature or two weaker creatures which will kill your opponent's creatures and make you gain 7 life.

    in other words, a t5 (or less) win.

    add 4 edge of the divinity. its an enchantment that costs either one white or black mana (like nip gwyllion). always enchant nip gwyllion because it can make nip grow into a 4/4, then 7/7, then 10/10, then 13/13. thus, you gain lots of life. you can even use wall of reverence with this so that you can gain even more life.

    i think Quillspike would work best in a counter deck.

    i mean, just look at its combo with Murderous Redcap; every time the Redcap would persist, quillspike can just take away its -1/-1 counter and become a 4/4 creature until end of turn. meanwhile, the redcap would just keep on dealing 2 damage every turn either by combat damage or by its ability.

    the wall is an imbalance. its way too good!!! i mean, its a perfect turn 3 drop for a control deck so that you can stall the game and have more time to bring out your control creatures.

    just wait a minute there first, silov. before you really focus on an Esper deck, you should first see the potential and strength of other Alara decks. you may not like jund and naya because of their colors but you need to consider that both those decks have potential. another possibly strong deck is a Bant Exalted deck. consider your options first okay? but if you really really want an esper deck, then you should start out with something like this first:

    4x Ethersworn Canonist
    4x Crip Swap

    4x Mulldrifter
    4x Etherium Sculptor
    4x Master of Etherium
    3x Sharding Sphinx
    2x Tezzeret the Seeker

    3x Mirrorweave
