I wonder which defining cards this set will have. It’s gotta be something from portal three kingdoms. Are they ever able to do some kind of masterpiece set for say dual lands in masters 25 since it’s not technically a reprint?
Doing so would actually violate the reserved list. This happened with an early Duel Deck and FTV and people were not happy
I like this idea, and would prefer to see this. However, my bet is on it being cards never before printed in the original frames, in the original frames.
I like my basic lands to say "Basic Land - [land type]. I'll be passing on these. It's too bad, as I like the frames here better than the Zendikar ones. Just needed those few words somewhere.
I'd announce that the Unserved List is being abolished in a little over 2 years time. Then after those two years of warning, reprint most of those cards in a product. Not reprinted at that time: Lotus, Moxen, and some others. Big draw to the product would be Dual Lands.
If you're one of the vast majority of people who hate WotC's Official Reprint Policy, I think you should always refer to it as "The Unserved List" instead of "The Reserved List". I think giving it a derogatory name can help WotC know how much it's hated.
Please note I'm not looking for a discussion about the list itself, if it can be changed, etc. Everybody has their thoughts and opinions about that. I'm just asking if you hate it like me, call it The Unserved List. Hopefully it will catch on.
Well, I wouldn't count on Ugin, the Spirit Dragon appearing in this deck, being that he clears $30.00. But Haven is technically 100% functional in this deck since it can also retrieve Dragon cards.
I would never run haven in a deck without Ugin. I never run cards that can't utilize their effects in commander (The BR dragonlord comes to mind). This is just a pet peeve however.
But the effect is Dragon creature card OR Ugin. So most of the effect can still be used without Ugin in your deck, if it's in a Dragon deck.
MOST people were hpppy few people were unhappy.
It’s zombies, so it should be allowed.
EDIT: Oops. I was only looking at the ships on the left, not the ones that are close to the ship on the right.
I would expect it to cost at least 6 as an artifact creature, probably 7 knowing the way they price colorless (non-Eldrazi) creatures.
