I have had several decks fail due to a limited card pool and not really doing anything other than throwing cards in a pile. Animar without any of the good pieces, Damia the same, Solkanar with only grixis random cards, and so on. A good EDH deck takes a fair amount of work to get it to where it will be enjoyable. A lot of that has to do with the meta as well. I build my decks to test against a Karthus Dragons.dec and then go and play with 2-4 blue players which always find issue with my shenanigans. It is fun to build decks spontaneously, but they do lack the polish that my meta requires.
Undying only checks if it had any +1/+1 counters on it. Since the Skinrender deals with -1/-1 counters, it is the same as if it dies any other way, and returns as a 3/2.
Just started playing with Laquatus's Creativity, and it has been amazing every time I cast it. In my UBR control deck it leads to looting 6-20 cards for me, and normally no more than 3-5 for anyone else. (I have a lot of draw though already.) And bonus points if you have a Consecrated Sphinx out.
Grixis Charm is a good catch all, although the pump isn't going to be super effective, removal and bounce are great options even when no nettlevine shows up.
I use an OTT-Lite, which is just a particular brand of natural light lamps. Go to any home repair store and look for natural light bulbs, they run around $20 a bulb here.
"Guess I shouldn't have mocked you so soon, but alas, this alone won't kill me." Lok chuckles sadly, as he twists the boiling pools of tar at his feet. The tar takes a humanoid shape, hardening into a skeleton willing to guard for him from one of the larger undead.

Lok's small minion throws itself forth onto the claws of the attackers. Lok straightly stands by as the small creature prepares with no care to be torn to shreds.
"You guys got a plan? If you do, I would love to see some evidence of it." Lok says, frustration building in his voice. For the first time in the fight Lok hands glow lightly and a small decrepit goblinoid crawled from the ground to his masters feet.

1.) If I cast a Cabal Therapy via flashback, when does the draw go on the stack? before or after the Therapy goes on the stack?
2.) If I sacrifice my Kelpie to the Therapy, when does the Persist go on the stack?
Thanks
