A small pocket of ooze forms around Loks feet. The dark mana seems to be struggle to join with him as it bubbles forth. He stands coldly, watching the approach calculatingly.

"Then let's stop waiting around and get going." Lok says impaitently. He moves to the wagon he was riding in before and waits for the others.

"Thats great, so what do we do now? Wait a second, I think I have something... Do you have saddles for the horses? And Echedi, how fast can you ride? I think we might be able to do this... What we do is put the captain in the wagon, get him away from the opening. Then, Oris and I take up positions in front of him blocking the entrance to the wagon with the crest and the captain. Echedi rides out on his horse to a position where he can keep an eye on us. Rest, get your energy back as soon as possible. Watch our position. When we see the creatures, they strike us first. We stand back, and fight them hand to hand. I will summon a small creature to cue Echedi. Upon his cue he rides in and flanks the beasts. With his distance he should be able to fling a few spells and return a few of the fiends to the aether. After Oris and I thinned them out, Echedi's strike should render them near defenseless to a direct assault. The captain can support us with some fire magic as well to keep them from getting to much of a hold on the situation. This also guarantees that none of them can escape. Thoughts?" Lo0k says, stopping to breath only after his long winded rant.

"Something fled into the woods over there," Lok says pointing in the direction of the beast "I don't quite know what it was, but it definetly seems like part of those beasts party."

"I'm glad you guys were able to deal with them, I can't believe I couldn't touch them." lol says sarcasticly. As the flame bursts into the captan lol gasps and looks around to see if he can spot the caster.

OOC: Whos turn is it? The captains or ours?

  • posted a message on just some clarification...
You are correct on each case. Each Grave Pact triggers an individual triggered ability after the creatures die.

This card makes me think of Nessian Courser and Silverback Ape. They needed a colour commitment to get an X/X for X. Also there is the more modern Cathodian to say that an ability like that is not vanilla still. Oh and Rhox Brute says no to this card.

"All!?!" Lok wispers harshly in disbelief. He immediatly draws upon his man and prepares for the worse. Seeing that he doesn't have any threats to deal with right now he decided to draw mana from an old spot he once frequented.

Lok flings himself forward, getting in position next to the center wagon. He crouches slightly to hide himself amongst the others.

OOC: can we gather mana at this point or do we have to wait until we see an enemy?
