Waiting on some mail to come in with a bunch of cards for my cube, but I did get a couple in mail earlier this week. Here are my upgrades: Scarscale Ritual -> Oona, Queen of the Fae
The ritual wasn't playing too well, and Oona seems like commonplace in most cubes. Easy enough switch. Kederekt Creeper -> Grixis Charm
More versatile and seems like a much better reason to splash a third colour. Oran-Rief Recluse -> Manaplasm
Neither are too great, but I have a bunch of players who would splash green just for the plasm. I don't judge, I wouldn't draft it but I still want to offer cards they can have fun with. Abyssal Specter -> Hypnotic Specter
I was only using abbysal because I couldn't get my hands on a hippy. Thats what happens when your neighbour collects them. Piracy Charm, Wizened Snitches, Minamo Scrollkeeper -> Daze, Trickbind, Cryptic Command
The first three were never played, and the new three seem like great choices for a cube. The only thing I am worried about is making monoblue drawgo decks too powerful. I will test and see what happens.
"Im good, let's get on with this." and he swiftly leaps back into his wagon. Lok did not want to step on the captains toes, and felt like he shouldn't be discussing plans this time around.
If they had dredge as a cost, then a set with Delve could work. Gravestorm intrigues me as something fun to work with. Transfigure on a card with ETB and such could be amazingly fun. Riggers I hope they don't do, I am against things being that flavoured. I dislike the reminder text on Obsidian Fireheart for example. I second Smash Champ on the Aura Swap. Finally, I like fortify, could be a good mechanic for later in the Zendikar Block.
They don't mind being greeted by someone who aknowledges it's the Christmas season, the problem lies in how they can't say Merry Christmas because they might offend someone. It is a Christian holiday, and the PCness says that you can't say Christmas. If it's a religious holiday why can't it be celebrated as such?
Today I found out that switchblades are illegal in Canada. I also learned that the main character of Assassins Creed, Altaïr, has no ring finger. Go figure.
Being a common probably means it should be smaller and weaker. We are talking red commons here, green gets the fatties and it has Craw Wurm at common, doesn't seem right.
Lok runs off to his wagon and hops in. Drawing his cloak around him he sits down against the inside of the wagon and yells out to Oris "Hurry up!! Let's get going already!"
/in. So as long as I post every 48 hours at the minimum we should be good? I should be able to post a lot more then that, but Christmas cab mess with my schedule.
EDIT: and were should post a number right? Something like 6 work?
"That sure gives the Gruul a lot more credit than they deserve. At best I expect them to make a main attack on our forces, while a second group assaults from a flanking position. I doubt they would do anything more than that. We could always trick the Gruul if we wanted to. Put the wagon with the chest in the middle of our caravan. Lead in front of it another wagon with Oris and I, then in the one behind it put Echedi and you. That way if they try to flank us, we can ambush them in return." Lok says sharply and confidently.
"Oris!!" Lol yells as he runs over to him " let's get going already! We are waiting on you again!" He then turns around and returns to the captain and says "Ready when you are."
