I'm actually excited to get another aggressive red 1 drop near the power level of Goblin Guide since this type of card is so much more first pickable than Firedrinker Satyr. Black and white aggressive creatures are coming down the pipes too, albeit slower than red. It's exciting red has a solid curve nowadays.
Currently monored hasn't been drafted in my cube in a long time, and it's nowhere near the most powerful in my list.
I won't be kicking out any of my 1 drops in red when adding Zurgo.
It has a cute synergy with Mardu Woe-Reaper to combat graveyard recursion.
Risen Executioner
2BB
Creature - Zombie Warrior
Risen Executioner can't block
Other zombie creatures you control get +1/+1
You may cast Risen Executioner from your graveyard if you pay 1 more to cast it for each other creature card in your graveyard.
4/3
It's not a power house but the lack of solid 4cmc creatures in black, along with a potentially increasing zombie tribe, could warrant his inclusion.
Zombies seem imminent for a upcomming set or block.
I think everyone can see the "magical Christmasland" that Sidisi can reak in cube. He is obviously great with black cards that are first pickable in black. It's times when you can't search without throwing away your 4/6, your only board presence. That and he only fits into a few black decks. I'll be awaiting feedback on him.
It's a shame, already the 5cmc and 7cmc black rares aren't stellar.
Thunderbreak Reagant
2RR
Creature - Dragon
Flying
Whenever a dragon you control becomes the target of a spell or ability your opponent controls, Thunderbreak Reagant deals 3 damage to that player.
4/4
That's a beasty 4 drop, does cube even have room for it? I'm sure he's a slam in large lists.
How deep does the support need to be for someone to even want to try and draft Dragonstorm? I've seen a lot of whacky combos supported, some better than others. I'm not certain this card is worth jamming now, but a few dragons from now it's possible.
I'm impressed with Tasigur, the Golden Fang. I would suggest testing him at 360. He's great in UB counterspells and BG graveyard, I suspect he's decent in monoblack but I wouldn't suggest it. His ability becomes better with more powerful cards, you'll hear many opponents say "aww no, I don't want to do that!"
I'm testing all the Khans (except the awful Abzan one) from FRF, plus Mardu Woe-Reaper, Lightform, Frost Walker, Renowned Weaponsmith, Mardu Strike Leader, and Goblin Heelcutter. Of course, I plan to run Monastery Mentor ASAP.
Haven't tested yet, but in online drafting, Alesha is capable of making some really sick decks.
We've been extremely impressed with Alesha too, she's very often the glue that pulls a deck together. Was great w/ Hornet Queen in one deck and a solid part of Br midrange along side Siege-Gang and Braids. I think she'll be a staple for a while, and I don't say that lightly.
We're going to get a lot of sweet cube cards in the next few years due to the power creep and elimination of core sets. Also Magic Origins is nearly all new cards.
I think he is a solid role player if you want to support hyper-aggressive blue tempo decks. I'm throwing him in my on-deck-binder, once I get one, until we get more aggro 1-2 blue drops. Frost Walker is another good aggro blue creature.

I'd want to play Strategic Planning over it as well, due to the uniqueness and light graveyard support

EDIT: And a nasty synergy with Purphoros, God of the Forge

I'd consider him if he was much better than the 6cmc creatures in black and blue but that isn't the case at all.
"I don't want to give you any of these!" is what your opponent will say often.
