It was something I looked at, but decided that I'd get them easily and not use them a whole lot. I mean one more mana and you can just play an anthem. Maybe if I played blossom a bit I'd be more interested, but...
Something I'll definitely look for in draft though.
It kills Stillmoon. Great for a black white deck just for this reason alone. It also saves my Esperlark deck from Volcanic Fallout. I don't mind Terminate either because Path to Exile doesn't like my lark deck but terminate is just like "see you later mulldrifter."
Could you explain that? I was considering this card to be decently good personally, it can't really be touched by RDWs which is nice cause it can block any of their stuff all day. Of course there could be something I'm not seeing here.
He is just saying shroud doesn't matter on a wall which I disagree. This guy is good but the other two walls 5cc plays is better.
People mention how good BR Blightning will be vs Cruel Control because of the 2/2 unearth guy but they forget that the deck already beats 5CC... the problem is getting around Burrenton Forge-Tender from the W/x decks. Specially Ranger of Eos fetching two of them.
This is a good card, no question, but it's not what BR needs to be competitive... Thought Hemorrage and Terminate are far more relevant.
Not really, Wall of Reverence, Volcanic Fallout, Cryptic Command, and Cruel Ultimatmun all make it hard.
Volcanic Fallout can kill those pro-white dudes and maybe some lands with legs. This helps kill the fae and I know it will see play.
_~;3795573']An unearth cost of 7... for a 2/2 that hopefully does some damage when it hits play?
I don't believe this... WotC can't really be that cruel on Grixis, right?
It's not about the unearth, it's about the huge damage it does on something like 5cc and the unearth is uncounterable meaning you win if you can unearth it late game.
It will do about 10 damage if you unearth it against 5cc, great after a cruel ultimatum because it will swing for 2 and do lots of damage, probably win you the game even if they cruel you.
Can anyone else say Kaleidostone?! What about an Esper deck that can fish up the artifact, and use it to play this!? Or solid UW with the enchantment tutor and...
You wouldn't want to cascade into a Kaleidostone though.
Knotvine Paladin can almost swing for more than Doran but in color. Throw down another Noble Hierarch and that is a 7/7 double striker turn 3. Really ugly that they don't even have to go out of color for it and they can Path to Exile a blocker if they wish. of course it's only a 6/6 double striker but that's not that bad.
The bad side? It dies to Volcanic, this might make it unplayable over Rhox.
And your own, why not play something that pings for one like Mogg Fanatic.

Identity Crisis is pretty cool, I'm a fan of Mind Shatter.

I wouldn't play this guy no matter what.
Instant speed uncounterable is pretty nice to boot, maybe even a 2/4

Hmmm, this sounds like a good idea you have there.

You mean before white got all these great removals and pro black doesn't mean crap?
