We've acquired all of the publicly available CAH cards including the Bigger, Blacker Box. One of my gifts to my wife for Christmas this past year was the "10 Days of Kwanzaa or Whatever" that they did. Some of the stuff she got was pretty lame, but she did get three small card packs that included some funny stuff. It's the best game we have when we have friends over for drinking and gaming.
One of the great things about this card is the versatility. You can cast him on three or four depending on the rest of your curve. I think he's worth testing at any size assuming you're supporting black aggro.
This card was a solid aggro topper in every game I had it, if he keeps it up he'll stick it out until his replacement comes along. Probably gets a lot worse with power.
We're fast on our way to getting the new holographic seal into our lists. I wouldn't be surprised if I don't add any commons and uncommons at this point. My intuition is that they've spoiled all the powerful cards.
Not only have we gotten a handful of easy inclusions, and much desired tricolor support, but the designs are wicked fun looking.
...Okay fine Wizards, I'll look to add a tricolor section.
He's not a slam dunk but he does do a decent Hellrider impression in the color that needs it most, plus life gain in black is always a bonus. I'm going to test him out.
Are you going to hold off dropping a Sword of XY to get the prowess trigger and token?
Do you mean equipping? Playing a sword gets you a token and triggers Prowess.
I'm saying turn three, you have the option of playing the monk or the Sword. As long as you already have a creature, I'm pretty sure the right call will be the Sword 99% of the time. Yes, I'm using some of the best equipment in the game and that doesn't mean the Monk is garbage, but I'm trying to theorycraft typical lines of play for decks the Monk makes the main and I'm not seeing lots of board states I'm salivating at the idea of the Monk.
I like to get my board setup and get to five mana to cast, equip, and attack with my sword if possible. Of course this really depends game-to-game.
3R creature that compares with Hellrider and Hero decently. I think he should find room in some lists but I don't think I'll bite just yet. Was hoping for the red Khan to be 3cmc.
Daretti has been a fantastic card. I was able to bring back Squee after years of failure, outside of Survival of the Fittest, and he has shined so well with Daretti and Dack in the last few drafts. Would recommend him to most 450+ cubes, though he may require some additional support.
This card will find its way into more cubes than it initially does, it's really powerful if that isn't obvious. It's 6 power for 5 mana on average. Great on many different parts of the game.

I'd play Young Pyromancer at 360. He's not good in every red deck, but he is nuts in the right one.

My whole playgroup was fighting over Bolas. So I think I can make room for another 8cmc Dragon walker, at least for now.
I'm going to find testing room at 475.
