I happen to think you are very cool.

The zoot suit was a little much, though.

    LOOL

My boy running around like a jaybird toward the end was probably a bit much too...

you are all right.. I have already acquired a singleton thrun, so all i have to do now is insert him wherever he fits to be, MD or SB..

Thrun could be an impenetrable wall against almost all types of decks.. He gives them nightmares once he hits the table.. The only answer to him is something like wrath of god and edict effects..

Has anyone experimented on substituting putrefy from terminate? How do you compare both of them?

I have and the one mana makes a huge difference more often than not.

Sure, you might be able to kill a Plating or an Isochron Scepter that was causing problems occasionally on their turn, but, for the most part, Maelstrom Pulse does Puterfy's job better albeit a sorcery. I am not saying it is horrible, but you will find the situation when this post will ring in your head when your opponent has cleared your board, has a blocker with junk in the trunk, and is at 3 life, while you have 5 mana, a Treetop Village and a Putrefy #FROWNTOWN

Terminate can be replaced with other generic creature removal spells, such as Go for the Throat or Smother. But having the option to kill stuff for 2 is pretty important IMO because, besides Bolt, it is one of the only things we have to interact with their turn. I also

I have been toying with a few SB slots for Pillar of Flame. I have seen Strangleroot Geist creeping his way into some decks, and Finks/Redcaps are already annoying. The fact that it can go to the dome is also gravy.

    Creatures:
    4 Bloodbraid Elf
    4 Sedraxis Specter
    3 Dark Confidant
    3 Tarmogoyf
    3 Kitchen Finks
    1 Olivia Voldaren

--is this line-up okay? I can't help it but i think i really have no room for goyf as of now, i could invest dark confidant within this year. Maybe buying a couple of goyfs, i could. But a playset? No, i think.

I don't like Olivia in this format yet. I would cut her.

Dark Confidant is also kind of necessary. I like the config here, but I would cut the 1 olivia and make her either bob or goyf.

    Nice.

Also from the original land base, cut the scalding tarns and bring in the 4th catacomb...also maybe a raging ravine or 2...this is how I would build your land base

    4 Verdant Catacomb
    2 Misty Rainforest
    3 Raging Ravine
    1 Breeding Pool
    1 Watery Grave
    2 Overgrown Tomb
    1 Stomping Ground
    1 Blood Crypt
    1 Steam Vents
    2 Twilight Mire
    1 Forest
    2 Swamp
    1 Creeping Tar Pit
    1 Rootbound Crag
    1 Drowned Catacomb
    1 Dragonskull Summit
    1 Woodland Cemetary

It looks like a mess and it probably is, but I would test this out. You have GG for finks, BB for Lili, plus random R and U requirements.

GB are def the most important colors, which is why you have basics of those. The original Jund list *can* be somewhat soft to Blood Moon. This is going to be worse. Catacomb and Rainforest can grab everything you need for every situation.

Also, I would not play any Jund deck without 1-2 Terminate and 2-3 Maelstrom Pulse. You need these.

Deck needs Goyf. There are no replacements. He may be vanilla, but a 3/4 for 2 is the epitome of efficient.

Otherwise, I don't see why this couldn't work, other than somewhat awkward mana. Speaking of which, run 4 catacombs and 1-2 misty rainforest and some breeding pool and watery grave....the current manabase is going to make you lose more often that you want, I think.
