    1) Goblinboy: Whoever is on the play wins the race.
    4) Halinn: Whoever is on the play wins the race.
Nope, we Chain the Raiders, then win with Thallid.
    You: Raiders
    Me: Chain
    You: Spirit
    Me: Thallid
    You: Swing (20-18)
    Me: 1 c, swing (19-18)
    You: Swing (19-16)
    Me: 2 c, swing (18-16)
    You: Swing (18-14)
    Me: token, swing (17-14)
    You: Swing (17-12)
    Me: 1 c, swing (15-12)
    You: swing (15-10)
    Me: 2 c, swing (13-10)
    You: Swing (13-8)
    Me: token, swing (11-8)
    You: Swing (11-6)
    Me: 1 c, swing (8-6)
    You: swing (8-4)
    Me: 2 c, swing (5-4)
    You: swing (5-2)
    Me: token, swing (2-2)
You: swing, blocked by new token (2-2)
    Me: swing (win)

    5) Sajin: He can never attack with Dread because I'll chump with Nether Spirit, then swing with Gathan Raiders. We then draw and I win with higher life. I can never attack because he kills the Gathan Raiders, then smashes for 6. We then draw and he wins with higher life. So neither of us ever attacks and it's a draw.
Not quite. If you swing with Raiders, it dies, and Nether Spirit stops coming back. Raiders will sit there doing nothing, with Spirit blocking. It's still 2-2, though.

    7) jcsuperstar: Whoever is on the play wins the race (explained below).
You do still win going first, but remember that the Spirit doesn't come into play right away. It waits until the next upkeep, and then can't swing until turn 3.

    You should draw vs. Crusher

I'm confused as to how you go 3-3 or 2-2 with Chimpanzee, Sajin, or jcsuperstar. Shouldn't you go 0-6 in all of those?

Okay so it turns out I really don't have the time to do this. So, this week, you guys do your own matchups. I'll edit them in as you do them. I can keep running them like this, but if anybody else wants to take the reins and do the calculation work themselves, go ahead.

Remember that this week's special format was: If a game would be a tie, it instead goes to the person with more life (unless life totals are equal).

I would have posted this last night or even Friday but I couldn't access the site for some reason.

Note that from now on, Thoughtseize is BANNED. It's just a hair too good.

I'm not commenting every deck, but here's some stuff I noticed:
First of all, it's really funny that Wrath_of_DoG did soooo well but still lost to the one card he specifically metagamed against.
The planeswalkers all suck except Garruk because he's the only one that doesn't outright lose to land+Mishra's Factory
Oona's Prowler is a rare?? hahaha how did that happen
Thoughtseize is only a tiny bit better than Duress, but that's enough.

1 - Goblinboy - Undiscovered Paradise, Mishra's Factory, Vinelasher Kudzu
    Tryin it out

    2 - Chimpanzee - Thoughtseize, Swamp, Mishra's Factory

3 - Knowledge - Badlands, Jackal Pup, Thoughtseize

Nope, Ball Lightning dies before attacking if you go second.

Eon Hub was picked to counteract Tabernacle, and to make Abu Ja'Far not too weak a pick.

Looking at the submissions, I think I may have made one of the options way better than the others... should be an interesting week.

    A little smaller this week.

1 - Goblinboy - Visara, the Dreadful, Ice Floe, Subterranean Hangar
    Go With The Floe
Wow, I did not expect to win with this. It was either Ice Floe or Innocent Blood and I guess I went with the right one.

2 - Halinn - Black Lotus, Loxodon Warhammer, Anurid Scavenger
    3CB Decklist
Warhammer is an interesting choice that allowed you to race Leveler once, which is cool. Still, the deck is a little slow, doing little until turn 3, where other Scavenger decks are up turn 2.

3 - Wrath_of_DoG - City of Traitors, Isochron Scepter, Thunderbolt
    CITy of Traitors.dec
I knew there would have to be a Scepter deck, but I couldn't think of the T. Thunderbolt didn't take out too many creatures, but it did work pretty well at toasting players.

4 - Tlaon - Black Lotus, Lunge, Anurid Scavenger
    BLA
The other Scavenger deck. Sadly, Lunge didn't really have much to take out.

    5 - r_x_ - Treetop Village, Rib Cage Spider, Eladamri's Vineyard
    Hey, this actually works!
Something other than the Rib Cage might have worked better. You have to stall a turn to play him, and he doesn't do much on the board. Nice idea though.

6 - andelijah - Faerie Conclave, Azorius Chancery, Energy Field
Don't worry honey. Willow Faerie isn't attending the conclave this year.
Awesome deck here. I tried thinking of ways to play Energy Field, since I knew it would be good, but I couldn't think of anything that worked. This is very nice.

7 - marit - Underground Sea, Nightscape Apprentice, Daze
    Go Go Night
Sadly, the Nightscape's abilities aren't much to care about. Daze was nice, though.

8 - Chimpanzee - Black Lotus, Leveler, Ancient Tomb
    Level-headed
    Big Ol Beats

9 - silasw - Mishra's Factory, Irrigation Ditch, Swords to Plowshares
    MIS
A little slow, but still some excellent utility here.

10 - jcsuperstar - Isamaru, Hound of Konda, Swords to Plowshares, Ancient Den
    shiiiiiny
Again, Swords to Plowshares knocks it out of the park in a creature-heavy week.

    The Next Tournament
The next tournament starts right now and will be tabulated on the closing day. PM your submissions to me by Saturday, September 29 at midnight PST and results will be posted soon thereafter.

THE NEXT TOURNAMENT IS A SPECIAL FORMAT
Choose one of the following to have in addition to your regular 3-card deck:
    1) Begin the game with a City of Brass in play.
    2) At the beginning of your upkeep, you may put a +1/+1 counter on a creature you control.
    3) Begin the game with an Abu Ja'far and an Eon Hub in play.
    4) At the end of your turn, if you have less than 5 life, you may return a card in your graveyard to your hand.
    5) Begin the game with 30 life.
    6) Begin the game with Ball Lightning in play.

If you have any questions about this format, about the rules, or simply want to see some statistics about the game, visit 3cb.DratItAll.com The Embarrassingly Crappy Looking Out of Date 3CB page!
On the page, you'll find links to all the 3CB's. I won't be updating the all-time rankings anymore though.

    Also, everyone, Listen Up:
    New format for suggesting corrections:

Quote from This is what it should look like »

    Player#1's NUMBER- Player Name1 - Decklist 1
    Player#2's NUMBER - Player Name2 - Decklist 2
    Current Match Score
    Suggested Match Score

    Explain Why

I'd sincerely appreciate all suggestions being in that format. Having the decklist number of what I'm correcting in the post makes things 100% easier for me. Thanks.

    ANYway,

Feel free to discuss this week's and next week's 3CB in this thread and post any questions you may have! Good Luck!
