The best players in the store (better than myself, anyway) are all nice. They're not smug if they win and they never expect to win.
The jerk players are few and far between, but the ones I know of aren't good enough to talk down to anyone. They just think they are. I calmly pull out my deck, play our games and thank them for the matches. Usually I catch some comment under their breath about a card I play or blaming their deck for not working, but I ignore it and go report my W.
Single target removal (Bolt, Go For the Throat). Get the Artists by themselves, then wipe the board. Humility (remove abilities) Curse of Death's Hold (they won't live long enough unless he has a way to pump them)
When the tokens ETB, the Sword triggers for each of them (assuming they are are 1/1).
You put those triggers on the stack in the order your choose. The last one to be put on the stack will be the first to resolve, causing the sword to become equipped to that creature.
Edit:
Also, it is a "may" ability, so you can choose not to attach it if you wish.
I think you probably have to look at it as a percentage, not as a number.
If > 50% of the T1 decks run were delver, I would expect it to be ~50% of the top 8.
Without knowing the % of each deck run in the entire tournament, it's really tough to claim it's "dominating".
You also have to look at who is piloting those decks. If the best players in the tournament are all running delver, then yes it should be a fairly high percentage of the top 8.
Are the people who dropped still considered for pairings in the final round? I mean, does everyone get paired and their opponents just get a free win? Or are pairings only done with the remaining people?
Usually players drop to play in a draft, though sometimes it is to leave for the night.
Players who do drop, but place in the top 4 anyway still receive prizes.
This isn't the same person every time, so I don't belive there is malicious intent behind it.
Is is possible for me to do a search of cards with a color identity of blue AND red without them being multicolored? I'm looking for a list of cards like Jilt/steamcore wierd across color pairings.
The easiest way to do this is under Advanced Search, choose your color (U in this case), then in Rules Text search for {R}. For the most part that will get the results you want.
I don't get it, you're mad that you finished lower than someone who won more rounds than you? Your opponents are dropping while undefeated? I am very confused.
An X-0 will finish above an X-1 regardless of tiebreakers
X=X (thought that went without saying)
So if I go 3-1, I should lose to someone who went 3-0 & dropped?
This has happened to me muliple times (4 that I can remember) in the past few months in several formats.
I will go X-1-0, playing the whole tournament.
Someone else will go X-0-0, dropping after X rounds.
Due to tiebreakers, I will get 5th and they'll get 4th. It seems ridiculous that someone who played the whole tournament can be beaten by someone who dropped out early.
I believe there is a very simple solution: If you play every round, you get 1 point. Now there is incentive to stay in and play the entire tournament. This could be factored in very last so it does not affect other outcomes.
For the most part, I use the white cardboard boxes.
I have:
14x 800 ct boxes to hold my C/U/Junk R - sorted by set/collector's # with core sets first, then by block
5x 400 ct boxes for basic lands
6x 200 ct boxes for tokens - sorted by color, then alpha
6x Fat Pack boxes to hold sleeved decks (stored in deck boxes), extra sleeves & duel decks
1x 2" binder w/ pages for Legacy
1x UltraPro sleeved binder for Standard trade
2x UltraPro sleeved binders for promos (textless, FNM, etc)

Not necessarily true. That loss for me can (and often does) come in the final round.
