If you're looking for the deathtouch end, Tidehollow Strix is very similar. If you're looking for the card draw, you could try something like Alchemist's Apprentice. It's difficult to replace because there are few cheap, deathtouching flying cantripping creatures out there, in fact it's probably the only one. I don't think that justifies the $17 though O.o

Most things. I'm more lurker than poster but things seem to be going well.

What's not working quite so well?
Worrying about a few people's complaints. While this summer taught us that it only takes a few people to shake up the entire site I don't think the administration should "have to" make accommodations for each bloc's specific needs or demands.

What would you do to improve the site?
Sadly, become more like the other top Magic sites. Get top players to write for MTGS and give people a real reason to visit the front page. Also, perhaps partner with a blog or two with Magic themes that aren't covered in the bevy of articles posted. Cranial Insertion is a prime example. It would give MTGS articles about rulings that we can stand by but also give Cranial Insertion more views.

Any general thoughts? Please post them!

If this were true I would be very happy for the simple fact of Star Wars Miniatures would more than likely see a comeback due to Disney owning the rights to both the company who previously owned them and Star Wars property. I am not sure if it would really change anything else, but damn would it be cool to have back SWM.
