Actually, it is constant, it usually only changes for special events and introduction of new format.s I know because I've scheduled, with my wife, my 6:00 ISD Block DE every Wednesday and sometimes Sunday at 1. Been that way since October.
I just thought.. um... someone might be interested to know this. I just got a crazy hair up my ass an ended up dropping just about $150 on pauper. That is, $150 got me a full playset of every card I could think that's ever really played in pauper ever. That's all the staples: Lotus Petal, Serrated Arrows, Daze, Gush, Invigorate, everything for Storm, Affinity, Infect, X-Post, Delver, Goblins, Burn, WW, MBC, Rats, Stompy and every other deck in the meta. And 24 of every MED basic land... for good measure.

I just filed for a ISD Block SE I was disconnected from with a 2-1 record going into round 4. They gave me a $7 coupon, so I figure $6 to cover my entry fee and $0.01 for every Spirit Token I had killed up to that point.
Another course the development of Curses could take over the block is a creature that transforms to a curse when it would die. Might be a nightmare from a rules standpoint, but it makes sense from a flavor perspective - kill an innocent creature and comes back to haunt you as a curse that makes the game more difficult for you.
I love the idea, and I don't think it would be a nightmare. Remember the old legendary flip cards that would start as a creature and flip into an enchantment? Those weren't too back, and DFC's are even easier, since each side is completely independant from each other.
I still don't quite get the point of having foil cards online other than showing off. They provide literally no benefit and look much worse.
At least paper magic foils sometimes look pretty nice. Foiled Bonds of Faith looks fantastic (just the chain and some extremely small details are foiled).
Well, if I had to make up a reason, if you collect a full foil set online you could redeem it for a full foil set on paper...
Another week, another lack of update for the PS3..
If there's one thing WotC is known for, it's their fantastic communication and customer service. I'm sure they'll give the community a little heads up as to why we don't have PS3 DLC yet, at least let us know they're working on.
I mean it's not like they'd just let us sit in the dark for weeks right?
How do you guys make time for DEs and balance work & family?
Schedule it.
I tell my wife there's only one event I can realistically play in every week, and that's Wednesday night at 6:00. That's my night. If I can get the incidental DE in at 10/11 over the weekend after the kid's gone to bed then great, and I have that one day set aside for me. It's just like when I used to be able to go to FNM. This is my new FNM. As long as I stick to that schedule everything is golden.
It helps that my wife is also a gamer, so while she's off raiding late at night, I'm free to hop into whatever available events I'm able to stay awake for.
^ My youtube channel, stocked with a couple hundred MTGO replays. A pop-up window comes up at the end of a replay telling you who won.

Oh sure man, just make the rest of us look like a**holes

I hate foils so much I don't even use aluminum foil anymore... I use plastic wrap... baking becomes awkward...
