Still extremely powerful for a "Necro" deck, but not abusable as much as the original necropotence was.
just to nitpick.. under current templates it would be worded like this: "Whenever a source you control would deal damage to a creature you don't control or to an opponent, you may pay 1 life. If you do, draw a card."
As for a necro reprint, it could be done, but the drawbacks required to make it balanced would make the card seem ridiculous... for example:

An effect that tells you that you can play a card without specifying a duration would mean that you get to play that card right now (like what Isochron Scepter does). The Lair shouldn't work that way, so it gets a duration added.
i was thinking more along the lines of time stop letting you play sorceries whenever you feel like it.. you answer works to tho, prolly both.
There are currently 51 lands in Standard. 9 more will be added in Guildpact. You may name one land, and then your opponent may just play a different one. The card wording is fine as it is.
There are WAY more cards in the Extended format.. how do you explain the power of meddling mage?
has anyone checked if Daggerclaw or Plotter are in the orb? both should be 2 if the wordings are correct.. id do it myself, but im at school and it took long enough to load this page..

Anyone shed any other light on this? The wierd ones probably have some Magic related named - the Gruul one was too obvious which is why I found it.
id say the 3rd one is prolly Terrors of Deaths (sounds weird.. but makes more sense.. kinda)
and isnt a Tengou some sort of boat? if so.. thats the Sewage Rotunda
i didnt play magic during judgement (skipped that block..), but verge is good and monastary is broked
however, i honestly dont think biorhythm is all that juicy, but it has seen play in the past...
they just dont want you posting the entire page, cause thats a copyright thing..
so just get the important shiz and crop out all the rest
