Faeries because Goblins can get quite boring. Using Goblins, its just mainly about bumrushing your opponent. On the other side, playing with Faeries can lead to different ways to deal with problems.

I was watching this game with a type 1 player (I asked him after the game and played a game with him) and a type 2 player in a tournament, and the guy with who played type1 had all of his cards closer to him.
Maybe its because back then nobody wanted to get their cards stolen.
