Also, cards dont need to explicitly mention the name of a tribe to count as supporting the tribal archetype. I think there are plenty of vampires that would compliment some zombie decks, and vice versa, it just depends on what you are going for. In that way, I think plants and fungi already play well together in many cases. Just food for thought

maybe they tried it that way and found it was too good? I think they prefer extra turns to not be repeatable these days, at least not with any amount of ease.

I believe this is called 'parasitic' design. Champions of Kamigawa suffered from it, since nowhere else in the game were there cards that supported stuff like arcane spells.
Kaladesh doesnt have quite the same problem though, because the energy users also make energy and (generally) vice versa, so at the very least, even with no other cards that have E, you can expect to draw 3 cards at some point

I think this card is neat, but if you are looking for premium white removal spells, you probably wanna look elsewhere. They are probably being careful after all the awesome cards white got in shadows block
