either you don't like punk or you just haven't heard it
i'm 23
As a genre, no. It's probably the largest genre that I dislike as a rule. The only exceptions I can think of offhand are Boris and Kylesa.
trance is not my style like at all at all at all also i don't go to festivals sorry
hahahaha i can't tell if you're joking or not. woo boy.
as far as first-wave punk the best album is probably Buzzcocks - Singles Going Steady. Wire - Pink Flag is also an acceptable answer.
and no it only sounds the same if you're listening to bad punk, sorry
yes. kid606 is listed above under my favorite albums. i also like detroit techno, chicago house, lots of more recent disco-ish stuff, but above all jungle
tomorrow never knows, because it basically invented breakbeat-based electronic music
i was hoping to see people take the stance that this is a Magic: the Gathering forum and of no real importance, so people should have the most fun possible with it. instead everyone (including the posters of the gutter) take everything super serious all the time
the staff drama is much more out in the open than it used to be. internal disputes spilling into the "public" just makes things ugly.
things are even stricter than they used to be. i used to be able to make hundreds of "borderline" posts; every other one of them would get me an infraction nowadays.
the attitude i was trying to cultivate among gutter posters is nowhere to be seen.
apparently i don't have any of their albums on this comp but i'll get one or two now; thanks for the rec i guess
of course!
i like post-punk, noise rock, indie rock, hip-hop, and other stuff (but i certainly do not Listen To Everything!!! that is for suckers!!!)
top albums:
Public Enemy - Fear of a Black Planet
Gang of Four - Entertainment!
The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground & Nico
The Stooges - Fun House
Guided By Voices - Bee Thousand
The Magnetic Fields - 69 Love Songs
Kid606 - Kill Sound Before Sound Kills You
i just finished listening to the a$ap rocky album and it is simultaneously the best and worst album of 2013?? and not ONLY because it's the only 2013 release i've heard. compare how good goldie (NOTE: EXTREMELY NWS, DO NOT CLICK THIS LINK UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES EVER) is next to dreck like fashion killa
so ask me about music, how to write a good article, my life, whatever (i know a LOT about music just sayin)
