If you want people to report posts, then at least let them know that they're not being ignored, Galspanic. And if you want to work with the userbase, try not to be so condescending. If users see you go to the thread, and apparently ignore it, they might just respond.
Also, there's a difference between responding to someone that you think is trolling you in a way that encourages them and a way that is informative.

Well I didn't mean to come across as misogynist. Most of the bars I'm familiar with don't have people looking to find a date or a long-term relationship in them, guy or girl. I guess I need to go to more bars.

This is totally untrue. People who go to bars: normal adults that want to get a drink. It depends on the bar, obviously, but normal adults meet other normal adults in bars. It's incredibly common to meet people as a result of that, and not just for a night.
The type of girls you meet in bars are generally the type of girls looking for a short burst of fun, like a one night stand. They just aren't the type of girls who are looking for a relationship, it's not the mentality of a bar-going girl.
