The map has been updated, but it seems they were a little sloppy and uploaded more than just the one image...
Edit: Map versions 2 through 20 were accidentally made publicly viewable but have now been made private. Still managed to snag a download of the final version.
I like that she can build an army until your ready to make a big attack and that she can always just be a Wrap in Flames if you just need to close out a game. I guess her +2 is for racing aggressive decks?
"Warrior Poet" is a badass title to have, for the record.
I'm looking at the Pirate/Treasure token artwork and noticing two things:
1) There looks to be a gun in the treasure artwork, leaning to the left of the chest. Considering the strict "no guns" policy for Magic, does that mean this was an artistic oversight? Or is an exception being made for Ixalan since pirates have such a strong thematic connection to guns? We've seen a magitech-looking weapon in the key art, will that be the compromise that lets it happen?
2) That pirate has wrapped himself in rigging. I have to imagine that's not a great idea.
Yeah Scion is in the Dragon deck so this doesn't actually mean anything.
Right, I forgot about Scion! So the Dragon deck already has 3 new commanders + 1 reprint. Which sadly means this Marchesa most likely won't be foil, though.
I'm not sure those are mage-rings. To me, it looks like a single helix stretching away. Could just be the nature of the composition, but I really think that's one object, not a line of rings.
Even if so, the clothing of the two combatants behind her is consistent with Ampryn Tactician and Graveblade Marauder, two cards we know to be from Vryn.
Nice catch! Those are definitely mage-rings on the battlefield, and the clothing is consistent with Origins too. Cool easter egg, and hopefully a hint that we may see more of the plane sometime soon?
So is this supposed to be the third potential commander for the Wizards deck? Very strange that only one deck would get a reprint commander, but equally strange if there is a third new Grixis Wizard giving the deck four potential commanders out of the box (technically this happened with the mono-colored decks including Tuktuk the Explorer in the 99 but that isn't a serious Commander option anyway).
A good target to reanimate with Bloodline Necromancer if you can discard it with looting effects. I'm very interested to see how this apparent Wizard tribal theme will play out in practice, I was very skeptical but they seem to have found an interesting niche for them.
That has to be Edgar Markov, Sorin's grandfather and the one who is responsible for the creation of all vampires on Innistrad. His eyes and dress are clearly of an Innistradi vampire and there is no higher up you can get on the vampire hierarchy on that plane than Edgar. Now I'm just curious whether he'll be BR like most of his vampire kin or WBR to maximize overlap with other vampire creatures (I know there are plenty of blue vampires too but we also know from leaks that we're about to get a whole lot more white ones).
Nice to see a straightforward explanation for why there are non-humanoid Eternals. And I love the small bit of humor in the mummies' obliviousness to the crumbling of society around them. The Paramount definitely intrigues me as to what the future of a return to Amonkhet may hold... could the mummies end up rebuilding Naktamun, continuing to go through the motions of their pre-programmed duties, or starting to deviate and developing a society all their own?

Even if you sacrifice the token the ETB effect still happens and you still get to cage another card.
