I would go with Master of Diversion. Removing a blocker is pretty good, there's nothing else that really stands out. Condor is good, so is Advocate, but I'd pick Master.
I like this guy, hes not great, but 2 free creatures every time you cast a burn spell is nothing to sneeze at.
And what about the interaction between this guy and Clan Defiance? If I read it correctly, you would get 6 tokens (assuming there are 3 legal targets)? That seems pretty good.
I was hoping they would make a cipher token generator for my esper token deck, but this costs too much.
Getting 1 or maybe more 1/1's for 4 isn't very good when I can already get 2 2/2's for 4 with Talrand's Invocation. And for 5 you can get 4 1/1's with Lingering Souls + flashback.
I like Mindshrieker because of its late game ability it can get big pretty quick. Latch Seeker is better without Gut Shot in standard, and if they want to burn a Pillar of Flame or something on it, I don't mind much.
I had Feeling of Dread in an earlier version, but it just seemed like a very defensive spell, everything is flying. It might be a good sideboard card though.
Judge's Familiar is very good, and some might argue necessary even with the "cannot be countered" stuff, there's plenty of value in having him on the battlefield.
If we were to focus more on ramping into powerful tokens and effects, might we be able to consider Craterhoof Behemoth as a true finisher? It's certainly a powerful creature, although it was considered "too slow" in the previous meta to see much any play. I'll continue to test with my ideal of quantity over quality, and see how things roll out...
Edit: Of course, I should try to get one somewhat comfortable build used first. *Sigh* Still pullin' out my hair, here.
I have a few comments but overall it's pretty similar to a lot of people's. It seems to me we have a good base to work with now. First comment is that your curve might simply be too high without enough ramp. Running 3 blessing and 2 wurms is pretty high - I'm not sure I agree on the wurm. While it is a fantastic card, it seems to me that it would e better in a traditional G/W (bant or junk) list. We don't have the ramp to hit it consistently and the token is far more important to us than the actual wurm. It should be the other way around, this card is bonkers with resto angel - and that's where it should stay in my eyes. Which brings me to resto angel. In a token deck it is not a good card. What are you going to flicker? Trostani, a token, an elf? All of
These are bad choices... I don't feel that it has enough synergy to best out other cards (haunting or removal). I miss Rancor myself, I feel there has to be a way to get it in. At least 2, pref 3. Thraggy is a sb card at best to deal with zombies. The question then becomes is it too slow? And, is Trostani better st that them Thraggy? Wed need to test that. Also, as an off note - I think you need a few more black sources, even for just LS. Tombs/Cemetary/Chapels are all perfect cards with shocks.
@ Maraga I am really considering Abrupt Decay. Im curious as to your answer.
You are probably right about the Wurm.. it just seems too good to leave out, but it probably fits in a different deck better. The point of adding the Angel was to blink the Wurm and get another token and gain 10 life with Trostani, but like we both said, its probably a different deck strategy.
If I take out the Wurm I would put Champion of Lambholt back in, cause I like that card in this deck. Don't know how to squeeze Rancor in, its a really good card.
And yeah i probably need a couple more black sources like Isolated Chapel if i can get my hands on some.
Personally I don't like the idea of an expensive overkill enchantment, and would rather just play the miracle version.
Trostani is probably decent in here.
I mean, I know the first post says no black, but most people would rather not make a separate deck thread. Tokens needs black as a splash IMO. Lingering Souls is just that good.
2. I like the idea of Entreat the Angels as a one of in the deck, worse case its 2 4/4 flyers for 7.
3. Didn't think about adding Mikaeus, the Lunarch, need some playtesting to see if that works in the deck, I tried it in previous decks and it just always seemed to die, but in the new format maybe it will be better.
4. What about the new populate cards like the one for 1G that prevents all combat damage to you or Rootborn Defenses?
Lingering Souls is only good because of the flashback cost of it. The Sorcery speed of it also hurts. Now, RtR has a LOT of graveyard hate (also we would be running Rest in Peace in our sideboard) which makes Lingering Soul's effectiveness lower as well. The question becomes - with everything that has been spoiled, is it worth splashing another colour JUST for a card that has been weakened because of the set mechanics. I'm not sure it is anymore. Populating a spirit token was never my biggest desire.
The flying does helps, and the 4 bodies make Collective Blessing an absolute monster with it. And assuming it doesn't get exiled from the GY or wiped from it, it still is a fantastic card. I guess what I'm arguing is, it might be worth it to try to drop black because of it. It allows us more options into tech (such as maybe the guild mage, good hate cards or something else). When we splash back we are doing it solely for lingering souls, I just wonder if it's worth it.
Watchwolf, Selesnya Charm and Midnight Haunting are fantastic cards. However - Deathrite Shaman might be the reason we run Black... THAT is a good card.
I think Lingering Souls is just too good to not play in a token deck. There will be graveyard hate, but I doubt someone will side it in against a G/W/b token deck.
Black also opens up some sideboard options like Vile Rebirth etc.
I'm still working on my deck list and waiting for the rest of the spoilers since this is the deck I hope to run at States, and I hope we get more good GW spells
Ah sorry, I didn't see that it was already posted, my bad.

It doesn't have any cards we don't know about yet, but still...

I don't think Craterhoof Behemoth fits in a token deck. If u want to ramp into something Collective Blessing seems like a better idea.
A G/W ramp/blink deck might make good use of it though. Using Cloudshift on it seems pretty good. lol

Trying to fit Thragtusk, Rancor, maybe Restoration Angel in this deck but I just can't figure out what to remove.
the card picture said green and white last night, it was changed apparently, so that wasnt the actual card just a mockup or whatever.
But I still want a playset for my G/W token deck for States.. I hope the price doesn't get crazy.
haven't they shown all the tokens already? There isn't a green and white wurm token, so unless there's a hidden token something doesn't seem right...
A few things..
1. Why no Midnight Haunting?
2. I like the idea of Entreat the Angels as a one of in the deck, worse case its 2 4/4 flyers for 7.
3. Didn't think about adding Mikaeus, the Lunarch, need some playtesting to see if that works in the deck, I tried it in previous decks and it just always seemed to die, but in the new format maybe it will be better.

also, what do you think about Champion of Lambholt and Wayfaring Temple?
Any token deck needs to run 4 Intangible Virtue. Also you don't have lingering souls or midnight haunting, which are still pretty good.
Wayfaring Temple + Champion of Lambholt are both really good for a token deck. Plus I would think about adding Growing Ranks, a free token each turn is nothing to sneeze at.
Rootborn Defenses seems more like a sideboard card to me, against aggro/burn decks. I'm not really sold on Slime Molding either, id much rather have a Champion of Lambholt or Wayfaring Temple in that spot.
I'm still working on my deck list and waiting for the rest of the spoilers since this is the deck I hope to run at States, and I hope we get more good GW spells
