The interface change is nice. My Curse username was Eric_Bauman for some reason, haha. I had to jump through some hoops to get there
Anyways, my favorite magic card is Fact or Fiction. I believe it to be the perfect draw spell if you build around it. PLaying it in a deck chock full of flashback spells and snapcaster mages is my dream in legacy, and resolving it in commander is always a really fun moment for everyone involved. It is the epitome of interactive card because both players get a say in the resolution of the card (even though I always get what I want. The Jace V Chandra one has the best flavor text in that regard.) I currently own four different copies (original, FNM promo, FTV 20 promo and JVC art)and they are all in either commander decks, casual decks or my cube.
MTGS is a great site and I look forward to brewing/discussing in the future!

age edition ones to get mine. other than that, I see timmy and bad cards. I don,t know a few of the cards, me being an inexperienced player(started with shadowmoor). nice pull!
the page sucks reaaaaally bad. and it isn't worth splashing.
I've found that maindecking 2 circles and 3 runed halos are pretty good, even if you have to cut a wrath for it. However, if this becomes a viable archetype, the sideboard hate will kill it. that, and if an opponent runs misveil plains, it's gg for him. Gaddock teeg is also a very annoying critter, so keep some paths handy.
for the budget players, Dream Fracture works wonders as a cancel with turbo.
but then again, every O-ring and other hate will be directed at you when you do have the combo out, before you can lay down the sieve. I'm putting duress in there as well as counterspell.
also, I was thinking of transmute(the mechanic) or fabricate(the card) for tutoring option. I have a Demonic tutor because I bought the duel decks, but that's it, so I need a tutor anyhoo. Thoughtcast is also getting in there and I might borrow a Sol Ring from a friend to test it out.
i got a foil path to exile, a banefire and a volcanic fallout.
that, and I remember opening a tarmogoyf in a FS booster. I sold it for like 45 bucks.
I can dream, right?
here i was at the local hobbyshop, drafting with some buddies. two of them ar casual mtg players, one of them is a competitive player and one is a complete timmy(or a noob, for lack of better words.).
So, I just drafted triple shards, because the shop was out of conflux and didn,t have enough reborn remaining(busy week, small shop, sickly owner, y'know...). My deck was a pure grixis control deck. I managed to snag the land, the charm and a nifty cruel ultimatum along with some burn and useful creatures. It's game 1 of match 1 and i'm up against nooby who drafted esper with some help from a bystander(we all agreed he needed some tips). the game starts and I open with Crumbling Necropolis, followed by a few good creatures. apparently, he was drafting Esper, because he had a lot of bounce and removal and lots of good fliers. here's the situation.
Me:
Seven lands.Necropolis, mountain, island, island, swamp, swamp, swamp
board: Empty(untimely infest+O-ring)
Hand: Cruel Ultimatum, Courier's capsule
Life: 6
Him:
Board: Tower Gargoyle, Master of etherium, puppet conjurer.
Life: 5
three mana open.
I smirk as i tap myself out, ready to cruel him into oblivion. then i drop the 7 mana bomb and asl for game two.
No reaction.
Still No reaction.
Then, a smile. a big wide cheshire smile. a freaking psycatog smile- you get the idea. So he just says «in response», taps his three mana and lays down one of the most innocuous, unplayable monstrosities i have EVER seen in a draft deck.
Spell snip
Spell ****ing snip. and guess what? it was foil*.
I just sat there dumbfounded, unaware of what had just happened, and oblivious to my noobish friends voice saying ''Attack for seven''. I still managed to win the match 2-1 and finally 5-0ed the draft. however, I still had the feeling of humiliation from losing to Spell Snip.
So after first-picking a tezzeret at the split, I walked straght to him and put it into his hands, making him swear that his next deck would be an esper artifact deck and that we'd face off again. I still haven't gotten over it. I mean come on!
anyway. Have you guys got some cool draft stories to share?
which is a long time. but anyways.
I will not post often. I will post only when a thread interests me or if there are trolls to be trolled, or with the promise of bounty in cookie form(Hmmm... cookie...)
looking forward to netdecking your decks(not really) and stealing your girlfr- cookies. yeah. (damn freudian slip). See you on the boards, fellow planeswalkers, and may your hand always topdeck.
(I'm a flavor-sucker, never mentionned that?)
Tainted Isle from torment is a great mana fixer, and it isn't that hard to come by. sure, you need a swamp in playm, but hey, it isn't like we'll have a lot of nonswamp nonbasic lands, now, does it?
Also, i've seen Esper panorama in a lot of builds on this thread already. why not replace them with Arcane Sanctum ?
lastly, do you guys think the sieve fits in the deck? or should I just focus on going infinite with the life and tokens?
