Actually you're absolutely right, according to the thread rules. It's just that is difficult to vote for a card you've never used... might Unhinged or Unglued surprise in future voting rounds... ?

What is with you people? This is best black sorcery, not 'second best but I like it more' or 'I dont want to vote for ante cards'. Contract from Below is easily the most powerful card ever printed, its banned not because its overpowered, because ante is, by Wizards standards, not something that should be played, like Chaos Orb and its kin. The vote should be based on power, not legality.
So just to clear up any possible confusion, this is best cards by type of card, not card type, ie, best discard, best reanimator, etc., not best sorcery, enchantment, etc.
You can vote for any card that does the afformentioned ability, be it creature, sorcery, or whatever, in any color. Basically this works like all of the other best card threads.
I really enjoy most of the shows on Sundays from 11 to 1. If theres one thing thats great on a Sunday night, its random and inane animated comedy (exception for the Boondocks). Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Perfect Hair Forever, 12 oz. Mouse, the Boondocks, and Harvey Birdman all get my stamps of approval.
As for Saturday, whats better than Full Metal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell, Evangelion, and Cowboy Bebop?

Ill have to vote for Edgewalker. Didnt it get played in a Cleric deck that was a little competitive back in OLS block? Plus the guy lets you play free clerics. What can be better?
Since were on the topic of misprints, I should tell everyone about my misprint Infiltrator's Magemark. Yep, big misprint. It has what appears to be ink smudges over 'Aura'. And no, I didnt put the ink smdges there myself. Is it anything significant or just another worthless common?
I too tried to make a deck based around the card, but theres one card that seems to be overlooked: Siege of Towers. Its basically a 3/1 for 2 mana, but more importantly, it will allow you to have several creatures in play without having to worry about your leyline.
