Okay, i'm gonna post the NFL debate topic for this year...any thoughts would be appreciated, and as soon as I get the time to type out my case, I will post it.
    Resolved:

The United States federal government should substantially decrease its authority either to detain without charge or to search without probable cause.

Yeah, it can be taken in many directions. My case focuses mainly on Racial Profiling post 9/11, and I can guarantee the Patriot Act will pop up alot too. What are your thoughs on the issue?

I've been testing this deck, and it's been going of VERY reliably for me. I was playing a guy with Mono-Black, I got off 3rd turn both games and he just couldn't stand up to it. FotD is amazing, especially when you get board position and you just whip out 2-3 of them...wowo.

I played MUC, lost the first game due to counters, but I sided in Boiling Seas and even mana leaks 3rd game and won the match.

So far, the main deck this can have a problem with is Blue Tron, and T@N, it just depends on who gets of first.

Bel- Speak the truth Brother! Drafting is the best way ever to get rares that you need. My store is especially sweet because it only costs $11 to enter but the only prize is a promo card. Nevertheless $11 is cheaper than buying 3 packs and drafting is hours of fun!

Wow...3 packs at my shop is like $9.60 :\

Also...we pay 10 to enter, and the prize for first is 8 packs...i thought that was low truthfully...

As for the price on the new dualies, I think all the sype will start them out at about $20-$25, but they will drop to around 10-15 in no time. Even though the origionals are better, these can be played in the more popular formats now, and that seems to raise the price more than anything.

I think Gift of Estates can find a place in a few WW decks, but mostly only in decks more tuned to control. If you are looking for speed, then wasting a turn 2 drop is never a good idea...

That said, i'd like to see what we could come up with for a decklist using Gift, and yes, 9th does add alot to it.

With the addition of sanctioned Multiplayer formats, shouldn't Multiplayer get a seperate thread to discuss decks, and the likings...

I like girls who look athletic. Not necessarily super-thin (in fact, rarely super-thin) but those who take care of themselves.

I must agree. I don't mind a girl that has some weight, as long as she keeps herself in good shape. I really don't like very skinny girls, under 100lbs is to little for me :\ I'm also not to fond of larger women, though I normally seek out personality, there has to be some attraction there to get things going.:jam:

Hehe, I am a bit scared of Furor, but it will still be a good debate...in my experience you can have the best debater(read: Master Debater ;)) in the world, but if you're case is strong enough, it will show through Smile

I will also need to do a bit of research..but I think that i'm upto working on it.

  • posted a message on Universal Questions - Is the Universe finite or infinite?
    Quote from herohammer »
Our universe is finite and expanding. Our plane is infinite in size.

Well then, that leads to the definition of universe. Do you believe that the universe is ALL encompasing, AKA it is everything, everywhere? If so, Do you believe in a "blank space" outside of our universe, and if so how can that be classified? It has to be something, or else our laws of physics are VERY wrong. If there can be something that literally is nothing, and therefor not a part of our universe, can anything else exist that is nothing(yes, i realise the irony of asking if something that is nothing exists ><)? I mean, I could see how multiple dimensions could exist, without taking up matter, if anything adding to them, but that would completley contradict all that physics teaches. Basically, what we call dimensions could also be called "antimatter", in other words when the universe was formed, if everything had an opposite as we believe, then matter would not be excused. This antimatter, if it does exist, could make our universe infinate, just by existing. So I guess the point is, do you believe everything has to have an opposite? If so, this could be a serious + to religious scholars, as it could prove the existance of good/evil in all things.
    Thoughts?
