I didn't see a thread for it, this is NOT WW, or WWE, this is MWC, running Final Judgements, Wraths, Pulses, GP's all MD, to stall while hitting with quick fliers...works well...I will post my decklist later today, but I have taken this to a 7-0 tourney win against 4 red decks, i'd say it stands up for itself.
WTF? sorry, but Meloku MD? Come on, the only time you're gonna use it is to get rid of the mirror's Meloku, other than that it's a dead card. You aren't going to want to search for Islands just to play him, when you can get out the fatties instead. I can see him in SB, MAYBE. Extraction in SB, probably.
The card draw can help, but it's not needed. Once the jitte hits and equips it doesn't matter if you draw an extra card a turn, or if you can get passed small creatures, the jitte can do that, and kill the creatures as an instant. If they try and destroy the jitte, you can remove counters as an instant, and that speed alone makes it better.
Jitte wins games. PERIOD. How hard is it to understand this, that if you drop a jitte that becomes the focus of attention, because the opponent knows that if they let you hit them with it they are in deep **** already. It almost translates into sac a creature: gain 4 life if you're playing red, or anything for that matter. you can easily deal with the opposing creatures while hitting for big damage EVERY turn.
Pulse MD is essestial in my area, as is GP. My build can stand upto red decks, and i knew that my meta would be full of them. You talk about the ideal area with all diffrent kinda of decks...I don't have that. I play against alot of new players, and i rarely even need to board to win. Jitte is ESSENTIAL, I had many more than 1 game where it was "Stall until I draw the Jitte for finish." I actually ran pristine as a finisher, and it won me a couple games, but PotF is amazing in here, it can stall until the win...I realize that htis deck should be able to win turn 4-5, but if it doesn't then what? You get PWNED late game, if there is one. This deck has CONSISTENT turn 6-7 kills on all teir 1 decks, but if I get a bad draw I can recover late game and finish them off for a win.
