Would you (or any mod) be able to post a list of areas you guys are considering picking new mods for? Just so if someone applied for an area, and you guys don't even need one there, they know not to expect any contact on the issue.

I'm no standard moderator, and I only briefly skimmed Madding's psot, but it looks like the prime focus of those threads -isn't- for Standard. The 'things that annoy you' may be something to got in magic general, because it isn't limited to standard only. Same for the other two thread. Since they are too general, then magic general it should be. But if they were discussing specifically standard, we wouldn't have this problem.
Edit: Just so we are clear on this, I'm also no furry. I only take parody so far, you know?
Edit2: Just so we are additionally clear, I do think Madding has a point; I'm just providing parody as a way of support, to highlight the 'our moderation couldn't possibly be wrong' approach we are used to seeing in SYM.
