Ok the anoucement formally went up this morning.
there is going to be stricter modding in the clans forum, and no nan wasn't on a power trip.
He was just doing his job as the new mod here. Granted he jumped the gun a few hours, but it's all good. A single minor warning aint no thing guys. Just don't get 3 more within a year.

it's actually not that hard, when i was heavy modding t2 i would just log in once or twice a day and breeze over the threads. It's suprisingly easy to read 200-300 posts in an hour when you are scanning then for content.
Clans should't be much harder. Way more posts per thread, but there are only 30 or so active threads.
Not 3 subforums worth of threads springing up in the wrong zone.
It seems that recently this forum's mods have decided to clamp down on threads, giving us 3 warnings in one page.
So from now on it seems as if we are going to need to really put some major content into our posts. We usually do a great job, but admittedly we have gotten a little lax lately.
Either that, or someone is out to get us.
I love it, i'm 30 and old friends that i haven't talked to in years keep finding me on it. It's been a great tool for rekindling old friendships, checking out music, befriending bands (deals on concert tickets are awesome) and such.
I'm not concerned with how teenagers use it. The site was designed for people to be able to network with their friends after college. Understandably most things don't follow through as planned, but hey. Details.
Also, there is a rather unused MTG Salvation group on myspace.
I could dig up the link if anyone wants it.
