Something along these lines. It's relatively cheap and features some fun cards and some new cards. There's no direct card advantage, but there's some recursion, and you get cumulative value out of Talrand, Pyromancer and Battledriver in conjunction with your other spells. Any token producer or Battledriver are prime clone effect targets.
Hey all. I'm a Bronze I support looking for duo queue partners. I'm also looking to learn Top lane and jungle after the newest changes. I'm open to friend requests and game invites.
I usually play Thresh, Taric, Leona, Nautilus, Soraka or Lulu and I'm looking to learn some more champs like Zyra and Elise.
Sell your cards. Play with proxies or play on Cockatrice private servers/ MODO.
If you're competitive but concerned with money, try Pauper. You can build all the best decks for $10-$20. Turn 5 is the "big deal" turn, so it might appeal to your casual friends. If you make it popular enough at your LGS they might hold regular tourneys.
They're probably just mad that they're new and don't know all the cards as well as you.
1) I've seen it written a few times in these threads that Casual decks need to be resilient and to have utility. Tell your friends to play 1-mana kill spells if your creature-based combo is getting them down. Or like main-boarding artifact hate a la Acidic Slime.
2) I'd recommend finding a thread about Casual staples and why they're good and showing it your newer friends. Someone makes one every couple months so they're always kicking around. It could open your friends' eyes to pitfalls in their deckmaking, making their decks better and your kitchen table fun again.
3) If your older cards make them mad, just play Modern-legal/new cardframe cards in your Casual group until they have a substantial collection of older or more powerful cards to match yours.
A "for fun" synergy/combo deck. The idea is to use Fauna Shaman to get the Shifty Doppelganger online, then use it to grab anything I want and cheat it into play with Doppelganger at instant speed. Getting Mikaeus out has some silly implications with Flayer and River Kelpie, which are a little win-more, but this deck is about big, flashy plays and style points. Finks and Thragtusk are more practical and help me live to see my combo go off. Almost everything in the deck nets me some sort of advantage when it comes in and/or dies, so Doppelganger can be pretty snowballish in the amount of card advantage it nets me over the course of the game.
I can cast ~80% of the deck outright using a :symu::symg: manabase, so i don't think off-color things that I'll be using with Body Double and Doppelganger will be too much of a problem.
I think a strong sac outlet would really put this deck over the top, as it would give me opportunities to push the synergies over the top, a la Flayer + Mikaeus + Kelpie/Redcap/Finks/Clique/Primus + Sac Outlet = infinite damage/life, arbitrarily large amounts of combat damage, blow up their board, etc. I might need to find room for Drowned Rusalka or Starved Rusalka, probably a High Market as well.
Ideally the sac outlet would be free to activate, but my only options that I've come across were black creatures and Phyrexian Altar, which i don't really want to run as central combo pieces.
Any help I can get here is greatly appreciated, thanks.
Undercity Informer lets you set up a mill turret to fill the 'yards with critters. Not a terrible idea to hit yourself with it if you play lots of evasive recurring dudes.
Counterflux is generally better. It costs 3 and can't be countered, but you have the option of paying more for it. Unless you play a lot of multiplayer where people duke it out with counter wars and combat tricks or the Cascade mechanic, Double negative is usually just a more complex Cancel.
You could splash black for heartless summoning. It has insane synergy with biomancer; all your creatures cost less and 1 biomancer negates heartless's drawback.
Humor aside, your best friend shouldn't get shafted, if he is, in fact, your best friend. If your best friend matters, and your girlfriend minds, your girlfriend doesn't matter. If she wants your babies, she should be willing to put up with your best friend. Friends are the most mild and most tolerable form of baggage, something she seems to have a lot of. Don't let ****** cloud your judgment and force you to cash in your best friend (for aforementioned ******).
Another way of thinking of it is who gets to pick up the pieces after you make a decision; you could drink with your Bestie and he'd console you on the loss of your girlfriend, whereas your girlfriend would give exactly zero ****s if this incident removed your Bestie from your life, supposing she hates him as much as you say she does.
Didn't open all of the spoilers. No offense, but spoilers are a little annoying, and spoilers insider of spoilers more so. I also didn't read all of the replies so some of these may be redundant.
Every Thursday for a month, I would go to a family dentist (insurance wouldn't cover surgery) and get one pulled after 9 shots of novocaine, one of which would invariably miss and stab my tongue each time. The pain was pretty intense for me and I normally have a high pain threshold, but I had to use the vicodin for 3 days after each extraction. The pain would make me see red otherwise.
I also got to keep mine, they're in an envelope in my dresser. One got cut in half with a surgical drill and my mouth tasted like burnt popcorn. I couldn't eat popcorn for a long while, dental surgery notwithstanding.
Anyways, enough about me.
When I got mine done, I'd get copious amounts of novocaine around 9 in the morning each time and it'd be noticeable by around 4, and absolutely unbearable by 6.
Make sure you keep up with the salt rinses, changing the gauze, and antibiotics/painkillers if they gave you any.

1) The deck must be fun to play. You should be enjoying yourself.
2) The deck must be fun to play against. Avoid bull**** or uninteractive strategies that make people feel like they're watching you play.
3) See rule 1.
4) ?????
5) Profit.
