Mizzium Mortars is your friend here. Has more kill potential than Bolt, and can clear the board in those games that drag on and let's you steal late-game away from mid-range/control decks that can't handle it.
Delver isn't a bad idea, but if you're going to add a 1-drop I'd opt for Nivmagus Elemental. He works nicely with Overload, not to mention Ground Rift and Grapeshot.
Runechanter's Pike might have a home here, but you probably don't need it.
Squadron Hawk was a huge part of competitive CawBlade lists when it was in Type 2. Dunno if it's up to scuff with your playgroup's power level or not though.
Rise from the Grave could be used in place of a creature; recur one of your own, particularly one with a nice ETB effect, or steal an opponent's after it dies.
Seizan, Perverter of Truth is my favorite demon. Consider running a pair if you like card advantage and need a midrange creature. He also makes for a neat bargaining chip in multiplayer; no one wants to take out the guy that's letting them draw two extra cards every turn.
Psychosis Crawler maybe? He deals lots of direct damage and he can swing for the fences when your opponent's board gets tapped down by Angel's Trumpet.
Consider 1 or 2 Reliquary Tower. Your deck is mostly colorless anyway, and situations where your hand gets beefy won't slow you down. Works nicely with the Crawler as well.
EVERYONE looks better than Kristen Stewart. I'm not saying she's ugly but she has a paralyzed gargoyle ***** face. Girls think she's pretty though so what seems like common sense to guys is a high complement to women.
Some colors are seasonal. If you look at the color of a shirt, you should be able to assign a season to it in ~3 seconds. That being said, don't wear a summer color in winter, for example.
Some colors look really nice on certain people. Find a store specializing in formal wear and try stuff on until you find something suitable (pun very intended :P).
For simplicity, opt for a black suit jacket and black pants whenever conditions allow. Black goes with everything, hides food stains the best, and it's slimming.
To suggest that he has platonic female friends in such mass that he could just casually ask if one of them wants a mustache ride wouldn't make much sense since he is here asking how to approach ONE girl.
I wouldn't rule it out. I have plenty of female friends but I'm less-than-stellar socially around girls that I'm interested in.
As a casual player, I'm constantly trying new things, taking decks apart to make new ones, rebuild, etc. This us the only deck I have that I refuse to take apart and I consider it the best deck i've built and the best deck for me to play:
Since Bloodghast is your only black permanent, I'd replace Leechridden Swamp with Bojuka Bog. Always good to have an answer to graveyard-oriented strategies when you're filling their 'yard, and in general.
Hypnotic Specter is much better here than Bloodghast. Sort of a must in MBC.
Consider Painful Quandary over Necrogen Mists. They'll most likely rabbit once you get them hellbent in order to avoid losing 5 life per spell played, essentially locking them out of the game. Or they'll only play a spell every other turn, which is pretty much a built-in time walk for the rest of the game

Careful Study/Faithless Looting and Snapcaster Mage gives you some deck-digging and a nice recursion tool. You said you had an optimal U/R deck so he might be reserved for that.
4x Snapcaster Mage
3x Wurmcoil Engine
4x Condescend
4x Vapor Snag
4x Cryptic Command
1x Fact or Fiction
2x Nevinyrral's Disk
2x Ratchet Bomb
2x Expedition Map
3x Jace, Architect of Thought
3x Tamiyo, the Moon Sage
2x Faerie Conclave
2x Halimar Depths
1x Academy Ruins
Any advice is appreciated.
Sword of Fire and Ice is my favorite of the Sword cycle, and it's arguably the strongest one. Sword of Feast and Famine is another winner from that cycle.
24 lands is a bit high since you're running 8 pieces of acceleration; I'd cut some accel or some lands.
Moan of the Unhallowed could be considered a creature spell. The flashback makes it handy for those long, drawn-out games.
Shriekmaw makes for some nice spot removal.
Rise from the Grave could be used in place of a creature; recur one of your own, particularly one with a nice ETB effect, or steal an opponent's after it dies.
Hypnotic Specter makes for some nice hand disruption.
Ravenous Rats: See above.
4x Nivmagus Elemental
4x Blistercore Weird
4x Kiln Fiend
4x Gelectrode
4x Wee Dragonauts
3x Fireblast
4x Vapor Snag
4x Lightning Bolt
4x Distortion Strike
2x Mizzium Mortars
4x Steam Vents
5x Island
7x Mountain
My take on Kiln Fiend combo with special consideration for what we've gained with Return to Ravnica. Any advice is appreciated.

Malicious advice results in a suspension. See RLA guidelines.

Q: Do I look prettier than X?
A: You're much prettier than Kristen Stewart.

Patterned shirts with solid ties are okay.

2x conquering manticore
4x flametongue kavu
4x zealous conscripts
4x Ichor wellspring
2x wildfire
1x warp world
23x mountain
1x phyrexia's core

Ravenous Rats is okay if you can find room for him.
If you want to replace Smallpox, it all comes down to what you tend to see most often. Any of these could be an improvement based on your meta:
Memoricide/Cranial Extraction or Extirpate/Surgical Extraction help you shut down combo decks.
Appetite for Brains helps deny control decks their late game.
Inquisition of Kozilek deals with aggro and utility spells.
Mind Shatter/Mind Rot/Mind Sludge help deal with volume against decks with lots of card advantage.
