Like MT? I dunno, I am kind of used to a certain amount of sass in posts nowadays - I can usually tell when someone is genuinly flaming me. I realize not everone can be so calloused, but we've all certainly adjusted in here. There's bound to be a getting-to-know-you period in any new community.
As far as I know, the Survivor thing is in Arc's welcome thread, + is, for me at least, a joke on Arc because he's the instigator of such things @ 'tings.

I hadn't realized there was meddling going on. I would infinitely prefer that warnings be handed out + content left as-is, so that everyone can see WHY the poster was warned, + give a sense of history to bannings etc. Meddling just looks bad, no matter if the intention is good. If folks are inclined to jump on flamewars or spamraids, those accounts need to take vacations anyway. I don't think pre-emptive strikes aren't the answer.
I am curious as to what was deemed edit-worthy - there's a lot of risqué spouting here, a lot sliding by (+ I don't think that's neccessarily a bad thing). How much trolling is too much? What is deemed an acceptable flame level? These things are taught by example, not removal.
