meh. seems like one of those cards that needs to be put into the set because of flavor/storyline reasons, though i haven't read this block's book so i could be wrong. anyway, i think WotC could have done a better job, such as maching it an interesting mechanic like Kaldra was, or at least making it playable.

Actually, it's not that bad, especially in limited and possibly block. i know I'M hoping to crack open one of these in each of my three packs at the PR. it could be pretty good in some R/G block deck, i suppose.

I'm not sure this would be all that great. maybe if it cost :symg:, or maybe even :symg::symg:, it would be ok. but :2mana::symg:? i dunno, i can't see it being played all that much.

so, anyway, quash seems much better IMO. i'd rather take away their T&N's and counter their hard-cast threats than stall a few turns while they draw more lands off all the landsearch they have.

EDIT: So, a JSS coming up at my store this sunday (Yes i'm that young :(), i'm trying to tweak my UG control deck to get it ready. i'm hoping to make T8 like i did last time at GP: DC, although last time i was playing ravager with skullclamp so i guess it wasn't really fair

i doubt it'd be usefull in constructed at all, but it could potentially be a game-breaker in limited, i guess.

the middle one seems a lot like rush of knowledge, and whatever the "draw cards equal to the number of birds you control" card was. interesting to see that Wizards is semi-repeating cards, but i like the new flavor, just the same.

meh, too much reanimation/graveyard stuff make this set seem like torment, and too much tribal stuff make it seem like leigons. i'm not sure what to think about BoK.

for us, there's one saturday PR, at the same place where states was, i think, and alot of Sunday PRs. the sunday ones are store-specific, but give the same card out. maybe it'll be different this time, though. who knows

i'm thinking of trying to make another sig tag for SR, and also starting on the contest. so, what are our "clan colors?" Magic-wise, i guess it's blue. What about real colors though?light blue, i guess, judging by the sig tag. and everyone's quotes from news. What else? green, or purple, or something? we needs a color scheme

EDIT: Zoobs, job sounds cool. in other news, i got the dark beam, and beat Dark Samus, but then had to turn off the Gamecube before i could save oh well, i'l do it again :tongue2:
