Legendary Instant
You gain 4 life, then gain an additional 4 life for each Legendary card you played this turn.
Repeat 2W (Until end of turn, you may play cards in your hand as though they were copies of this card for its repeat cost.)
Leimakids are nymphs from the meadows, for those wondering. Dryads, for example, are nymphs of the trees.
Enchantment
Whenever an opponent controls no creatures, sacrifice Pain and Gain.
Whenever you take mana burn from a red mana, you may have Pain and Gain deal 2 damage to target creature.
Hamadryad's Care - 3GG
Enchant Creature
Enchanted creature gets +3/+3 and can't be the target of spells or abilities.
When enchanted creature is put into a graveyard, return that creature and Hamadryad's Care to their owners' hands.
Crew's Savvy - 3UU
Sorcery
Choose a basic land type. Creatures you control gain landwalk of that type until end of turn.
Infuse - Whenever a creature you control deals combat damage to a player this turn, draw a card. (This card is infused if you spent only blue mana to play it.)
Pillar of Unfulfilled Dreams - 4
Artifact
Each instant and sorcery spell has infuse. (It's infused if its controller spent only mana of its colors to play it.)
Whenever a player plays an instant or sorcery spell, if that spell is infused, that player may copy that spell and choose new targets for the copy.
The rest are crap as well. The artifact may be used in casual games, but I was expecting some tournament quality stuff.
Anyway, thanks MEGANE! You never fail.
In limited, yes, it's insane. 1/3 for 1W is nothing to scoff at, but when it potentially searches for your Cages, Wills and Restraints... yay!
Anywya, I really doubt this will see any serious costructed play. It could have been a 3/3 spiritlinked at least.
You EVEN think? It will be an EXCELLENT card in limited!
Fog effects are generally good in limited (except for plain Fog ones, like Ethereal Haze). Attach it to a 1/1 body, and you've got an excellent cheap creature that should make your deck every single time.
It should be pretty good in white weenie as well. Kami of the Ancient Law is also an excellent card, especially with the Hondens around.
I don't have time to read the story now, but I will soon.
And yay for a black protagonist!
It should have been a 3/5. The red one is a 6/1, for chrissake!
He did say ninjas were unplayable in competitive constructed formats, which is exactly what I believe this card to be. It's fun for casual play and everything, but I honestly doubt there will be a viable ninja deck. While fun, ninjutsu provides you with tempo loss, and unless we see ninjas with playable comes-into-play abilities, I don't think this mechanic will be constructed-playable at all. Keep in mind that stocking a ninja deck with cards like Eternal Witness makes no sense, because 1) they're not ninja and 2) there are far better ways to abuse their CiP abilities.
It IS because you weren't playing.
Lin Sivvi was cheaper, put the searched creature into PLAY, had the recursion ability AND could be searched for by other rebels. This is nowhere near Sivvi's power level, and I doubt it will ever see tournament play.
