Well, I will play as long as I can come up with a deck.
    Also, is Manabond banned?
"Cannot force a player to discard more than 2 cards a turn" is where it might not work

Wow... I thought I would do better, But I guess that losing to Serra Avatar, DSC and Blackmail hurt.

I would go with -1 Sharpshooter, +1 Ancient Tomb, as I found the added speed was really useful and Incinerator dealt with most creatures anyway.

Why do people use Sliver Queen instead of Caller of the Claw? with caller, you get through blessing and Root Maze

You could run dCloud of Faeries for Altar of Dementia, if you wanted to.
Also, this is in casual, so why not run 4 enlightened tutors :)?

Does anyone play Pirates of the Spanish Main, or is going to play Pirates of the Crimson Coast? It is a really good game and I recommend it.

Are you talking about the new version of Pirates! Gold by Sid Meir?

http://www.wizkidsgames.com/pirates/ is the site by the company. also, there is PSMRealms, a forum about it. The ships are made of some kind of plastic that is very flexible and durable, but snaps. you bend various pieces of plastic together and contruct boats.
Qetu: PotCC is not out yet, but they started doing "previews" a little like Wizards does. It looks really good.

Why do people care who got the rumors as long as they are real? For example, I could say, "MTGnews said there is oging to be a card that makes everything cost 3" and get believed, because MTGnews was believable. I don't care who gets the info, as long as it is real and before the Pre-Rel Smile

I really like that, but then tex would get one for being first banned member Wink . [/sarcasm] That way, peole with spam would not get anywhere, and if rumor people got lots of rumors, they could get custom. Most rumor people only post 5-10 times, but they do extremly risky and impotant things for the site.

I was the one who orginally started the MTGnews threa. Over there, I banned mindslaver, word of command, or anything like that involving your opponent taking ctions for you, as well as Unglued and Unhinged. Also, you cannot say stuff like "Llanowar elves is EXT legal/ has better art etc". And you must use card tags! This is Goblinboy's thread now, so I can't control it, but those were the rules.
If your opponent plays endemic plague and sacrifices Mad Dog, Wild mongrel would die, but Grizzly bears would not.
Also, do people think that creature type based effects should be banned? Above is an example Wink .
    Lightning Bolt>Chain Lighting>"Lava Spike"(the CoK card that deals 3 to a player).

Are there versions of either for Mac? I know that Dragonstudios was going to have a Mac version of Appr, but I think it was never finished.

  • posted a message on Trinisphere- deserves restriction, or overrated?
I think 3-Sphere should be restricted and/or Workshop. It is extremely good, and there are, especially with Crypt and SoLoMoxen, a LOT of ways to get it first turn. I was even working on a deck that is MBC based around turn 1 Dark Ritual Trinisphere! It is simply too owerful in these days.

Mishra's workshop should also be restricted. It is a reuseabe Lotus! how much better can you get?(Please, no Scorched Ruins Comments Smile ). It can power out broken stuff turn 1, inculding Trinisphere, Crucible of Worlds, Ensnaring Bridge, etc). People can still SB it in Belcher if it is restricted, but artifact decks will not be nearly as powerful as they are. Now that mirrodin was printed, as said above, it is time for artifact helpers to get axed.
