This looks very similar to the deck Sullivan Solution. I might try cutting some or all of the Shadow of Doubts, keeping mana open for them can be difficult. I would also try running Repeal and more Moxen to keep up with the speed of the format right now, and make it easy to flip Erayo. Diabolic Edict could be replaced with Imperial Edict or Cruel Edict if you are worried about Misdirection.

I wouldn't run Null Rod in the current enviroment because GAT and Flash are only running 3-4 pieces of artifact mana. Hitting only 3-4 semi relevant cards just isn't good enough, I would say Blood Moon and Magus of the Moon are the new Null Rod in the current environment. This changes of course if you play against a lot of Stax/Bomberman, where Rod is very good.

Blood Moon can be pretty strong in a GAT heavy metagame. Standstill is a definite possiblity, becausehas very nice synergy with Manlands/Ninja. Cut Maze of Ith and Looter il-Kor and also I would cut the random Crucible. Null Rod is something I would actually cosider cutting from Fish, unless you play a lot of Bomberman. Maindeck REB/Pyroblast will also help you in any metagame with blue.

Are there any reputable dealers you guys would suggest i go to for power? I mean besides the usual ABU/ Star city etc? Also on a more personal note, would any of you be willing to travel to gather power? Smile I know it sounds crazy but here in the UK, we're so well connected to Spain, Italy, Germany, Holland etc. Seeing that most of these countries have a large vintage following, would you be willing to 'Power' Travel ?

I wouldn't buy power from online stores unless you really have to, its just very expensive. You can try sites like magictraders as well, but buying power in real life is probably best.

I don't own any power currently because there is no need to with proxy events in the US. Playing a budget Fish deck and hopefully winning is one way, as is buying/selling for a profit. Neither is easy, but if you put some time into you should be able to get powered.

Dude I wouldn't say it is a bad deck. I can see it be extremly fast and a power house. I am trying to come up with a deck list. If i can only use dryad in it could possibly become a great deck.

I am sorry but I just don't see how madness can be good in any sort of blue based decks. What advantages do Arrogant Wurm or Basking Rootwalla have over Jotun Grunt, Tarmogoyf or Quiron Dryad. Gush Madness provides no advantages over normal Gush decks. The only deck using madness I would consider possible are builds of TMWA which sometimes play Strength of Lunacy.

U/G madness is already a painfully slow deck, and Gush just makes it slower. You have no way to make up the tempo lost by Gush or capitalize on it any more then decks like GAT. It might make the deck slightly better simply because its free draw, but not enough to make madness good.

Some GAT lists have been running Brain Freeze in the maindeck or sideboard as an alternate win. It is much easier to cast then Tendrils, which needs BB in a deck without rituals. You do need a higher storm, but that can often be easier to get then the mana for Tendrils. If you splash red you could also run Empty the Warrens as your Storm kill.

As for the rest of the deck I would much rather have a 4 Duress, 2 Mana Drain configuration in the current metagame. The 1 Bayou seems wrong, I would cut it for another basic Island.

Thanks for all the responses. I agree that in the past the lack of proxies has had a huge impact on the European metagame. The difference in proxies has been used in the past to discount the European metagame, something that must stop now. As proxies begin to be experimented with in Europe I hope that they catch on and new players are introduced to the format. Europe and America should take a hard look at each others metagames, communicate, and learn from each other.

Pact of Negation can be strong in Combo decks like Pitch Long and Flash. It does leave the deck open to cards like Duress and is not as good protecting bombs like Necropotence which don't win the turn they are cast.

It seems like you had trouble resolving Leyline hate against GAT, Unmask is really helpful there busting through a counter wall. Do you have many grave oriented decks in your metagame? If not I would just cut Leylines for Unmask.

I didn't notice it at first either. Perhaps you could put it up as an article so people would see it?

I figured I'd post it here as well, as some are running Street Wraith in Vintage Ichorid.

Look at Call to the Netherworld

I found running 4 Street Wraith and 4 Call to the Netherworld pretty amazing in Extended and Legacy, but I haven't look at it in Vintage. I think that the interaction could be used well with Bazaar. It gives the deck more punch and more early draw.

Call to the Netherworld is cute, but I don't see it being powerful enough. The only card worth returning is Street Wraith and it must be in your opening hand to work. Even if you do get it in your opening hand getting a single extra dredge just isn't that strong. Ichorid is already having trouble fitting in key disruption cards like Chalice, Leyline and Unmask and I can't see cutting them for a cute trick.
