First of all, "phase" already has a meaning in magic. That's what the "main phase" is: a part of the turn structure that may or may not contain one or more steps.
Second of all, there are a lot of other wording issues, especially for Pollus and Luna. What does it mean to be "used"?
The whole day/night thing is cool and interesting, but it has a lot of memory issues... that's why wizards chose what they chose for the triggers on werewolves.
Phyrexian FlametongueRR(P/R)(P/R) Artifact Creature -Beast
When ~ enters the battlefield, it deals 4 damage to target creature.
2/1
Given the nature of Phyrexian Mana and that it can be used in any deck, I'm not sure if this is very fair. It's a Flame Slash stapled to a Alpha Myr in its current form, so I do wonder.
Your thoughts?
You should probably change the rest of the OP too.
2 copies of Shade of the Grave means you'll have one for the rest of the game, barring tormod's crypt effects. Might want to tweak that.
And about the unearth wording: You could use it like that if you have a good reason, such as making it triggered sometimes instead of just an activated ability.
This was the "13 damage to more than one creature" spell I was thinking they'd print:
River Tam Beats Up Everyone! R
Sorcery (r)
~ deals 13 damage to 13 target creatures and/or players. "They should center around some character we already know, someone we never get tired of watching."
Gonna be leaving for the SCG Open tomorrow so going to post the clan contest votes tonight. I figure Dimir's mill event deck at the #2 spot and the Crafter's ridiculous pirate video at #1.
That deck. It is ridiculous. Holy crap.
Side note: it's almost 6 local time and the sun is probably at an elevation of less than 30 degrees, but I lost my distraction and I'm hungry.
Hahaha I like the seedborn witch one.
I came in 12th out of 24 at my release; I didn't think I was winning packs at 2-2 (4-4), but I ended up with one. Nothing really notable came of the tournament except for the realization that Innistrad is actually a pretty fast format, contrary to many's beliefs.
Extremely powerful, and definitely broken in eternal formats. Black Lotus?
I like the idea, but it's way too unbalanced as it is right now.
You can't really design cards around vintage. They did print tezzeret the seeker, after all. And that interaction is worse than dark ritual anyway. It's a 1-card combo to your 2-card one. As is, it lets you cheat mana pretty effectively AND recur artifacts for a heavy blue commitment (or duals).
I like the 2/2 vigilance for 1. he's like tattermunge maniac, but twice as vulnerable and twice as useful.
They would make no sense at all UNLESS they were put into a "color matters" set. In there, I think they'd be interesting, depending on the environment.

EDIT: Mmmm... food.

I don't think this is powerful enough, so:
Heavy Ox 4W
Creature - Ox (C)
spoils - Heavy Ox gets +0/+4 as long as you control more nonland permanents than an opponent.
2/2
