Its not like there won't be any cross color combos, and it's not like you'd be playing mirror the whole time this set is legal. Drop killing colorless mana and cards that don't kill anything but color you're playing. This set would suck otherwise, because green and blue would be operating on two tremendously different levels, and with each only geared to a mirror matchup.
I haven't read the entire thread, so some of this might have changed by now.
All of this colored mana is getting on my nerves. IT WOULDN'T WORK IN ANYTHING BUT BLOCK. earlier on I remember someone saying that there could be little wisps of almost-white mana floating around that just isn't concentrated enough to be used like white mana. Think about what a GGGGGG mana cost would do in a multicolor deck!
Also, I think mass burn wouldn't work. There needs to be some way to channel it all at the opposing player, like a functional spitemare reprint. Otherwise the first point of damage on you loses you the game. I like the idea of a kill everything plane, but that's what the WORLD is doing, not the creatures. They must have figured out SOME way to harness the power of fire. Maybe they hit themselves, too...
