Give them a card and enclose the $50 with a business card from the least-seedy adult toy store in the area. They should be able to stir up something interesting there.

This is a good idea, they can bring something fun along on the honeymoon.

If you're 51 and are living with your parents, you may actually want to drink rather than play. I wouldn't lie to my parents if they were providing me a place to stay and I also wouldn't waste time and money on a card game if my life was that much in shambles.

Their handsize is reduced by 7, so during their cleanup step they discard any cards in hand. During your end step you draw seven more cards, which can be used before your next turns cleanup step without discarding them.

    Quote from TheFiremind
He told Moses at the burning bush what his name, Jehovah, meant. "I shall prove to be, what I shall prove to be." another translation is "He causes to become". Jehovah's name literally means he will do what he has to, become what he needs to, cause the things that need to happen, etc etc...to ensure that his will is accomplished. For all we know, the only reason the Princess of Egypt was down by the river bathing when she found moses was because a bird pooped in her hair...wink wink ;). See where I'm going with this? it's not that she didn't want to go clean up, I imagine she did, I would have, her free will wasn't perverted. It was however, directed, manipulated, and pointed in a way that would work out Jehovah's purpose. Note: I don't know these kinds of details obv, dont take it too literally, it's an example, don't miss the point by getting lost in the details.

Also, don't confuse Jehovah -Can't- be wrong with Jehovah -isn't- wrong. It's not that once God "locks in" his sight of the future, you can't make another choice because of some supernatural universal law that states God can't be wrong, so your choice is forced in order to live in line with that. It's as simple as Jehovah just is never wrong. Nothing needs to be forced in order for things to fall in line with the prediction he makes. Worst case scenario, he just needs to give someone a nudge in the right direction. No supernatural force suddenly grabs you and turns you into a decision making zombie that blindly follows his prediction. He knows because he's just that damn good. It's not that he can't be wrong, just simply that he never is.

As for that Epicurus quote, I hate that quote. It's a disgusting perversion of truth if you know even a thing about the bible. It's the virulent spew of the so-called "educated" who are too arrogant and prideful to actually examine their surroundings with an open and unbiased mind. A cheap mental parlor trick of manipulated logic and phrasing that holds no water when literally examined and put to the test with accurate knowledge of the being in question. A sad little cop-out excuse for the man too lazy to sit and do his own research and question what he doesn't understand. A license to ignore the idea that perhaps he could be subject to some other authority than himself. A "wise" observation to help stroke the ego of an arrogant man who feels he already has the world figured out and understood.

If you want to know why evil is permitted, you need to care enough to know that actual story of the bible. That it has a central theme, what that theme is, prophecy that has been fulfilled, prophecy that hasn't yet, and what happened at three major story points. The Garden of Eden, The life of Job, and the life of Jesus. You need to be close enough to Jehovah to understand how his sense of justice works, how the scales will soon be balanced, and how much the suffering that happens now pains him. Jehovah's purpose is not so lofty we can't grasp it. The bible is not too intricate to understand, and there's no reason to walk around wondering. I know exactly why he permits suffering, what his purpose is, and how it will be carried out. "Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you."

First note; I'm not gonna lie, I skimmed each paragraph involving the word "Jehovah", because those witnesses come to my door every weekend without fail, even though the week prior I told them no and not to come back. If they come back this saturday(they will) I intend on ennacting the golden rule, seeing as they pester and harrass me every week, thats obviously what they want me to do to them. That being said, I'm not an evil person I don't think, but I do suffer the imperfections of being a rational human.

Back on topic, being guided rather than forced. I can accept that as an option, if you know how someone would react to certain stimuluses you can force their hand. I've done this on occasion, where I pranked a roommate and made it look like it was our other roommate so he "got him back" instead of getting me back. Started a hilarious month of nonstop tomfoolery, and none of my stuff was affected, I guess you could say I was playing god? Which brings me back to that, It's not that I couldn't believe there was a being guiding me, I just wouldn't want to based upon how my life has played out compared to other people. Why would I be favored, if I'm not devout?

Okay, lets derive what you said about can't vs isn't. If something does not have the capacity to be incorrect, it can never be incorrect and thus "isn't" wrong. If something isn't wrong, that does not mean that it can't be wrong, the state it is in is truthful at the moment. I prefer to think that nothing is infallible, because things change. If god was to say "you will die of cancer" to someone, and then they get chemotherapy and die from the treatment rather than the cancer, then one might be able to say the cancer drove them to the treatment and caused their death, which makes God correct. There's always an angle to take that makes an opinion work, but it doesn't really make the opinion true.

Your whole paragraph on Epicurus is completely hypocritical. I italicized the part that was just a bunch of crap with no backup or reasoning. So, you hate the quote. Provide a little proof as to why this is a falsehood, that does not indemnify any section of the scripture I could choose, please.

you make God sound like a emo teenager by saying "the suffering pains him". So, all our suffering he is hurt by. Yet he is guiding our suffering. And he created us with the capability to suffer. And he doesn't stop it. Essentially, we are a razor blade and God is listening to My Chemical Romance on repeat. Wonderful.

This might also apply to reese's cups. Girlfriend complained when i wanted to buy three small bags, one reese's cups, one three musketeers, and one m&m's for halloween. Instead, we bought a big bag with a mix. All three of those went quickly within the first hour then all we had left was almond joys and a few other candies I hate. We still have a few in a dish on our coffee table.

The match was completely one-sided? Yea, winning on turn 2 is tech.
Your opponent clearly lost to manascrew or your insanely lucky topdeck? Yea, it's crazy I won on turn 2 after mulling to 4, i just got the draws

so you have no evidence to suggest that anything he says in the article is inncorrect thank you for admitting it.

this is what we call a fail arguement.

He debunked your source, which in a debate would count as a win. He probably didn't READ the article though.

Socialism == Everyone riots, everyone cleans up, the government murders half of everyone at random.

    Quote from Triumphforks
Planning does not negate free will. Yes, God plan's out history, but he does not force you to do anything. God may know the outcome, but he never forces people to do stuff.

So, essentially, God knows what is going to happen, based upon peoples choices they make in life free of any guiding. Yet, every week millions of people file into churches and are "guided" towards the choices "a good christian" makes.(This may be a generality, but it is my personal experience. I was dragged to church using guilt, i did not have the free will to attend.)

    Quote from Triumphforks
Hitler's actions, while repugnant, did have an obvious part in God's plan. They got the Jew's back into Israel. With out Hitler's atrocities, no holocaust. With no holocaust, the Jew's would never have been able to reclaim Israel. And with out that, several Biblical prophecies would not have been fulfilled.

Did God WANT Hitler to do all those awful things? No, he did not. Did he use what Hitler did anyway to make good come out of it? Yes. And of course God did not MAKE anyone do anything in this. He influenced the outcome by speaking to people, but the choices were still theirs and theirs alone.

So now God is taking advantage of the actions of evil men? So he doesn't WANT hitler to do those things, he NEEDS him to, to fufill some prophecy. So hitler was a tool used by God to bring the Jews back to Isreal, just like every murderer is a tool of God to bring the innocent "good christian" back to heaven? Is there a requirement to suffer in order to find yourself where you rightfully belong? It all seems like some sick joke, suffer now and live in paradise for eternity or live in paradise now and suffer for eternity. Why would someone pick the first option when there's no real tactile way of proving it?

    Quote from Mr Cochese
I take absolutely no comfort that the current mess in the holy land was forced largely by Zionist politicians attempting to fulfil Biblical prophecy in the wake of the Second World War. Nor that it will not be the last time common sense and humanity is abandoned in favour of superstition.

This was a very well thought out response, and I agree wholeheartedly.

    Quote from Freedom Call
If you find it tough to compete in rated matches without spending a lot on a tier one deck, you can buy a Momir Vig avatar from a bot/player for around 11 tix (or from Wizards for $9.99) and play Momir Basic.

They have 2-man's and Daily Events that pay out M12, and you never need to spend another dime/ticket on your deck.

I second the Momir suggestion, but I do have to point out, it is REALLY hard to play with a randomizer on your spells. Theres alot of times I try to hit something decent and get nothing helpful.
