Melystri, the Ravenous Maw13
Legendary Creature - Eldrazi
When you cast CARDNAME, each player discards all colored cards in his or her hand.
Deathtouch, reach
CARDNAME can block any number of creatures.
When CARDNAME is put into a graveyard from anywhere, its owner shuffles his or her graveyard into his or her library.

Next: A planeswalker commander in two or more colors.
@Reinforced Arms: Seems pretty good, I personally love this, but maybe it could be a mana cheaper? 8/10
Gonna go with our mysterious friend Arel, Unseen Whisperer from Tarkir. Very little is known about this character, so I just kinda freelanced her. I did made two assumptions: Temur colors, and set in the original Tarkir timeline.

Legendary Creature - Human Shaman 3, T, Exile a creature card from your hand: Search your library for a creature card, reveal it, and put it into your hand, then shuffle your library. Ferocious--While you're searching your library, you may cast a creature card with power 4 or greater from your library if you control a creature with power 4 or greater. Activate this ability only once per turn.

Fauna Shaman meets Panglacial Wurm? Kinda unsure about this, and probably busted as hell, but it looked good on paper... Sorry if it's horrible.
Next: Something from The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim world. A creature, equipment, magic spell, etc. Bonus points for a "Dragon Shout" spell.
I currently have 18 Astral Coruncopias and always looking for more. It's somewhat unwieldy, but it's currently my favorite manarock. Maybe I'll fill a whole folder with them just for kicks.
Hi, I have a question concerning Dragonlord Kolaghan also. Let's say you control a Quicksilver Amulet (but the situation involves any way of playing Kolaghan at instant speed). Can you wait until your opponent casts a creature/planeswalker with the same name as one in their graveyard, then flash in Kolaghan, thus triggering his effect by surprise? Or is it too late to do so by then?
This seems similar to flashing in Ob Nixilis, Unshackled in response to them searching their library, but I wasn't sure it would work the same way here.
Someone please clear this up for me. Thanks in advance!
I've always had an issue with the mechanic Haunt, from Guildpact. It always seemed kinda clunky to me, and didn't have much depth, even if somewhat flavorful. However, there's little chance it'll return or be expanded upon.
So, I came up with a new version, called "Possess". It only triggers when the creature dies, then it "possesses" an opponent's creature. The effect lasts as long as the possessing creature remains in your graveyard (so graveyard removal can deal with it.) Here are a few cards to demonstrate it. I'm not 100% sure on the wording of this mechanic, so please be gentle with your criticism.
Thrull of Punishment2WB
Creature - Thrull

Possess (When CARDNAME dies, you may possess target creature you don't control.)
While CARDNAME is in your graveyard, the creature it possesses can't attack or block.

A basic Pacifism effect. Seems Orzhov-ish I suppose.
Penance Revenant1
Creature - Spirit
Possess (When CARDNAME dies, you may possess target creature you don't control.)
While CARDNAME is in your graveyard, the creature it possesses gets “When this creature dies, sacrifice a nonland permanent.”

Prolocutor of Souls
Legendary Creature - Human
Possess (When CARDNAME dies, you may possess target creature you don't control.)
While CARDNAME is in your graveyard, possessed creatures you don't control get -2/-2 and “When this creature dies, put a 1/1 colorless Spirit creature token onto the battlefield under an opponent’s control.”

Now we're talking! This is the one I'm most unsure about the wording on, but basically it weakens all their possessed creatures, not just the one that this guy possesses, and when they die, you get a Spirit token (their soul). There is an issue in multiplayer with the last ability (allowing a choice of opponent), but I wasn't sure how to word it so that only you could get the token. It should work fine in 1 vs 1 though. If anyone knows how to word it properly please let me know.
Surprised no one has noticed a surge on Waves of Aggression. Wonder why this jumped all of a sudden? Seems like a decent card, but is it actually played anywhere?
So.. Pearl Lake Ancient is taking off on TCGplayer... up to $6 minimum and only a few vendors have it. UB control may not have been the best meta call, but it is apparently winning enough to warrant consideration, right?
Two main ways to win, resurrect a fatty (cough Griselbrand cough), or use the curses. Worked pretty well in an era of Delver decks, believe it or not, probably thanks to Curse of Death's Hold and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite...
@Aysvald Sphere - interesting card, but it doesn't meet the criteria; @Rush_Clasic specified to make a creature card... 2/10
My take on the Temur Khan... even though he will probably be spoiled soon lol
Surrak Dragonclaw4GUR
Legendary Creature - Human Warrior
Other attacking creatures you control get +2/+2.
Whenever Surrak Dragonclaw attacks an opponent, you may put a creature card with power 4 or greater from your hand onto the battlefield tapped and attacking that opponent.

Next: Something to make the Morph mechanic tournament playable (or at least better)
@Heart of Alara: I really like this. Can be abused by things like Energy Chamber, etc., but this fits the flavor perfectly, I think. 10/10
creative use of snow?
Eternal Blizzard2UW
Snow Enchantment
Nonland permanents gain Cumulative upkeep: S.
If unused mana would empty from your mana pool, it becomes snow instead.
Not sure of the wording of this, but I think you get the idea. Second ability because, even thought "mana storage" isn't white/blue, it seemed cool to be able to save your unused mana as snow mana to pay for the upkeep cost.
Next: Another "cool" use of snow, OR make a playable (but not overpowered) land that cares about enchantments.
WW Mythbusters topic.

That's what I was afraid of, oh well, guess there won't be any sneaky flashing loss of life going on here. Thanks for your answer!
