The Tora is interesting. Capable of big things, but overall it's a big beater than make you run out of gas.

Verdict in interesting, as stated it is a nice cheap (if marginally conditional) creature removal for withe. Something that might finally see constructed play.

Not sure what to make of this. I don't find it particularly impressive. Maybe it could be used in conjunction with the red "each player sacs" spell in some sort of LD deck.

Sounds like fun. Quite limited though. I like it Smile

It should hve been 1UU... people you be happy for a plain counter at that cost, and the peek would make it at least not technically strictly worse than counter-spell.

nothing special, the "unblockable" one is interesting though. It seems like it's worth (card-advantage-wise) at least one opposing creature if not two. That is certainly is nothing at which to sneeze. (wow.... silly dangling prepositions; can't end with "at" :-p )

only 5 toughness? well it's on ok creature as far as giant unplayable creatures go.

at worst it's raze at best.... um... not sure but it is interesting. It's an ok splice target as splicing a glacial ray to kill one of there creatures won't work very well (although still not bad, basically would let you decide what they sac...) and of course beneficial splice words great with it. Seems like a good card looking for a home.

Nice to have the rumors flowing again. Thanks!!

and Isochron Scepter only lets you play imprinted instants (even if you do shenanigan a sorcery onto somehow... which isn't easy).

well, i guess if it doesn't have trample... i'll just have to put rancor on it ;-)

    FAKE!!!
I mean having a 4 instead of ::sym4:: is just plain stupid. The other errors are more subtle but still, that 4....

When will R&D learn that trample is the one thing that makes big creatures and green good.

As it is he is fine as a 4/4, but heck look at the man-lands, Tree-top is the best because it has trample. Compare 3/3 trample to 4/4. (outside of fighting each other) which do you think would be better most of the time? The one that trips over Orochi Eggwatcher tokens? or the one that still does some damage too?

Guess i can't complain too much....

It simply doesn't work. I can't really explain it since I don't know where it says so in the rulebook but I do know that it doesn't work... Sadly because it would've been sweet...

It works just fine w/ first strike creatures. This is because first strike damage goes on the stack. You then can respond (w/ ninjutsu). Then it resolves despite the fact that the original creature is gone. Then the "normal strike" damage is put on the stack for every creature that hasn't done damage yet (such as the ninja that was just brought in).... the ninja gets to deal damage as well as the first strike creature that left.

This does not work for a non-first/double strike creature (whether or not the ninja has first-strike doesn't matter).

At least unless the official ninjutsu rules bring ins something really weird exceptions.
