09153394225 posted a message on [Primer] Turbo Fogi am running a combination of stirring wildwood and/or treetop village in my latest draft, haven't haven't decided on the correct number yet; i'm on white/green by the way because they're the cards that i have a lot of in my collection, second only to black..Posted in: Deck Creation (Modern)
i like manlands in turbo fog, I have always liked to use manlands as a defensive technique than an offensive one, same reason why i'm running mishra's factories rather than mutavault in my mono black pox; but that's off-topic..
especially, stirring wildwood, this guy is (imo) a manland that works to fit that technique well, as a more defensive combat trick than a creature..
just sharing some thoughts, i had just only started working on the deck again after about 2 years and i certainly don't know the most optimal turbo fog decklist so my ideas might be a bit fringe or not so germane..

Spitlebug posted a message on Infinite Turns!!Ahem, doesn't Heroic require you to cast a spell targeting Sage of Hours to add the fourth and fifth +1/+1 counter to it?Posted in: Deck Creation (Modern) - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

To be completely honest, swiftspear isn't what made burn their 1/1.5 again. It was eidolon. Swiftspear just give the deck more. GG 5-8 really. Taking it away doesn't matter. Burn got its high when eidolon was printed

I'd say 8-10 fetches and no more than 1-2 of each shock that you need for your colors. Too much damage to urself opens us up to more decks having outs

I nvr said I had all the answers and if you looked abkve, you'll see I ask questions myself so I think your mistaken, but in my opinion, it's stupid and pointless to go over stuff time and time again when the answers are already in the forum. It doesn't rly take all that long to go through the pages. Cards are in blue lettering so all it takes is a skim through each page til you see the specific one your looking for and then read. It's more of a being lazy thing than a time thing. That's my opinion. And I'm in no way shape or form all knkwing. I just answer questions with my best advise and personally opinions from my experiences. That's all. But anyways... I'm not gonna waste anymore time going over this bc it will end up like the arguments over t wrath and devil from earlier in the thread.

To me helix is sorta not worth it bc you have to lose 3 a lot of times to fetch and get the foundry just to gain 3 when you can play another spell over it that deals 3 for 2?
Not to be a dick, but honestly, you need to go back and read the previous 60 pages to see why some of his choices were made and for what reason bc bridge was talked about thoroughly in the past. If you don't know why or what decks, read the forum first bc most cards and color splashes have been discussed pretty heavily. Again, not trying to sound like harsh.

Lets make this easier for you... What language do you speak? I will assume italian:
Helpful information in another language is cool. I approve. ~Lantern

PtE (Path to Exile) is a trap. Id say your sb is pretty good. Id run more molten rain since you have both scapeshift and tron. I would also squeeze in more Rakdos Charm because that card is versatile against many deck. How often do you board in the leylines? If you can survive, id remove those and add more molten rain and rakdos charm

You def want flames of the blood hand over browbeat or shard volley over browbeat. You never want to run brow. its a trap. Its discussed in this thread and in legacy burn thread how its a trick. And with your split of flamebreak and anger of the gods , most will say that you should run volcanic fallout over both because it can't be countered, but its kinda a meta choice. since they sound like they worked well, id say your good, but if you wanna be safe against counters, switch 'em. Jet doesnt work for me but you are running 20 mountains, so id say keep it. Searing Blaze has never failed me but there are spells you can replace it with if need be. I still say our go to 2 for 3 damage spell is Incinerate . Otherwise, welcome back and looking forward to more info/results.
