Yes... Just go mono colored. White is probably your best bet bc it gives you plenty of fogs, creatures is you want to play any, and 2 of the best win cons for us outside of planeswalkers in approach of the second sun and luminarch ascension. Don't listen to the above post... Whoever said that is crazy... Mono white is very doable for cheap. outside of leyline of sanctity it is dirt cheap and pretty good if your meta is creature based. Now if you're trying to play superfriends with 1 playset of a fog effect and you're trying to call that turbofog, then you're not even playing turbofog. You're playing superfriends and that is expensive

We shall see. I still don't see them getting used as much as everyone thinks. That's my opinion

Bc there's no better alternative in the decks that do run it. Other decks don't need them like the decks that do run them. And those that run them won't be running enough of them for it to make that significant of a difference in how fast we can count to 20. If all the decks ran them as a 4 of along side fetches and what not then I'd agree but I see most decks that will use them using them as a 2 of or at best a 3 of. The only decks I see running them as a set are alrdy running a set of canopy and then possibly b/x/x shadow decks to help drop their life total. Otherwise Phoenix doesn't rly need them due to the fact that their deck is cantrips. Storm won't for same reason. Tron won't most likely. Humans might but they need the rainbow lands more. Control decks might but they've got better options to spend resources on to dig/manipulate/etc. Hardened scales probably won't bc they don't rly need it. I don't see infect needing them when they can now win on turn 2 thanks to scale up. B/g/x probably will as a 4 of. But pls feel free to enlighten me bc I don't know everything. This is just my thoughts on it.

The point is it doesn't do anything. Grim lavaman deals damage through it's ability. This doesn't. And figure isn't ran anymore bc there's better one drops so the same is true here. Feel free to try it bc I could be wrong but I personally don't think that's where you want to be. If you're flooding then you probably want to look at your Mana. I run 19 and literally can't remember the last time I flooded. Screwed, yes, but not flooded.

Hex drinker seems terrible in burn. No haste and you're incentivised to put Mana into it instead of playing your burn spells

Trust wotc judgement... Now I'm worried about your judgement my friend. I've been playing far too long now and I know that's the last thing you do. They make sooooo many mistakes and if youve played long enough you know what I mean. They make their judgement based on what will make us money just like any other company and that's the issue. Not to mention the. They try to make a conscience decision it ends poorly normally. Burn gains nothing but the land and the Mulligan does not help nearly, it's not even close, to as much as it helps 2 card combo decks, let alone so cards they need to stop us cold. Yes we can find our sb cards too but it's not the same. You'll see

I think you're over estimating how many people will be running those lands and if they are they're probably not running them in a full playset. Right now there's only what three Decks that run Horizon canopy? The only deck I could see running a playset would be death Shadow only for the simple fact they want to damage themselves. I don't know why anyone would take skewer out or run any less than 4 as long as you prioritize and play smart there's no reason is anything less than a bolt. Chained to the Rocks has its advantages but at the time when I tried them there were times where I wish I had the instant speed removal instead of chained. Personally I agree with the quoted message that this gives people the ability to sculpt their hands and find what they need to stop us. I would not be surprised if layline does not see more play. On top of that giving combo decks the ability to find what they need whether they're down a card or not doesn't matter once they have what they need they go off that's the point of a combo so it won't matter if they are still going down on a card or two to find their pieces if they can just find them they win the game. Devoted vizier is a two card combo that wins when that combo hits the table. All they have to do is mole and find the two pieces and when you can look at a fresh 7 every time and get rid of what you don't need they just get there 2 combo pieces in the hand and win. Neo brand we'll just do the same thing and get griselbrand out and I don't know how we deal with that outside of path and they can just nourishing Shoal their way away from us. Tron will naturally find the three lands easier and dealing with corn and wurmcoil isn't great either especially if they are able to form their hand to have it. I'm not saying that they will get it every time because of the new Mulligan rule nor am I saying they won't flood or still find a way to be Mana screwed but personally I think it dramatically helps most decks in the format except us. And I also agree with the quoted post that if they're going to allow the format to break their rule of being a turn four or five format and consistently be that way then we need something that hits harder in order to even think about competing against turn two or three wins. Even infect now will be winning on turn with a much higher consistency if they find the right cards. They now have that one Mana instant that turns a creature into a craw worm so all the sudden you're turn one glistener elf is a turn to six four with infect and all they need is might of old krosa or the one that gives + 4 + 4 off of landfall

Also doesn't deal with wurmcoil either. smiting helix Frown tease... I saw the name and then the 4 cmc made me cry. Flashback is nice but yeah... They rly hate burn apparently. We didn't rly get much and they made a lot of hate cards against us

I still see it as useful. Everyone here is look at eggs as a "graveyard" deck. I'm looking at possibilities as an "etb" deck. Our tools to help us recur our eggs are cheaper in retract and hurkyl's recall and with something like cost reducers. I'd be using etb triggers to kill the opponent.

So how about the new arcum's astrolabe? Yeah we have to run snow Mana but it is a one Mana prophetic prism

He seems good but I worry if turn 4 is slower than we want. The format is speeding up and I feel we want to try and go off ASAP but his mana ability would be very helpful
