That 5/5 does a lot of good things in limited. It evolves your guys. It can block gruul dudes and trade. Finally it can be used to extort in late game in an esper deck. Seems good to me.
Here's the thing, Orzhov did have plenty of bleed effects the first time around but now that it's a mechanic it frees up room for more interesting/unique effects on the cards. Extort is secondary to other effects, and builds up as the game progresses.
Im a big fan... Draining with think twice at your opponent's EOT seems rediculous.

This set is really boring. It certainly does not make me want to return to magic. It was a really great idea for a set. Shame they had to take the awesome flavor and stick it on so many poor cards. This set seems like wizards is playing really safe and not trying to push any boundries.
When I saw Mox Opal, I said to myself "this card is terrible". Then I saw the terrible preorder prices, and wondered if people would be terrible enough to buy this terrible card for that price. I thought "it's terribly tough to activate on turn 1 or 2, and by turn 3, you were better off playing Everflowing Chalice for 1 on turn 2." However is this terrible card terrible? Some (who no doubt have shelled out 100+ dollars for a playset) would say that this card isn't terrible. It's only terrible in multiples, in the early turns, and as a topdeck. That can't mean it's totally terrible, right?

Saw it in a fat pack book. Same place I saw the Equipment that gives lifelink and flying. Cost and equip 2.
