This set does not seem that great from a constucted point of view, but then again, Mirrodin block does not help much with that problem, at least with Standard. However, Betrayers of Kamigawa looks like an excellent limited set.
I dress like I do normally. When I draw my cards off the top of my library I put them straight into my hand before looking at them, and constantly shuffle my hand around. I sit up in a straight pose, and may chat with my oponent, but not too much that it distracts from my game. I keep constant track of everything going on in the game and always pause after I play a spell and wait briefly to see if they pass priority or do something, then proceed. I occasionally feign reactions to certain plays and bluff, but not too much. I am also a total ass when it comes to the rules and taking back plays. When it is tournament time, you screw up, you cannot take it back. I do not tell my opponent how to play their decks either, at least not during the tournament.
I will be taking either Red Deck Wins or UG Madness to the PTQs and GPs this season. Aggro is definately a good choice for such a wide-open metagame. I have a feeling people will be gunning for Affinity in the PTQs and GPs.
The number of lands/mana sources in a deck varies by archetype. For example, a low mana curve aggro deck such as Sligh or Ravager Affinity can get away with as low as 18 land. On the other hand, control decks sometimes run as much as 30. As a general rule I run around 23 to 24 mana sources in most of my decks.
Freedom of religion is relative, relative to how much your beliefs conform to the norms of a society. It is funny just how contradictory and hypocritical society really is.
My opinion as to why there is so much prejudice against America:
1. Bush is a moron.
2. Were are kind of the mountain when it comes to power in the world. As the United States is surrently the only world super-power left, everyone likes picking on the guy on top.
3. Iraq War -> No weapons of mass destruction -> not much getting solved in Arabland -> needlessly antagonizing the middle east
4. America = scapegoat for world's problems, see number 2.
Exciting, more useless bushido junk. Bleh. This will sooo not see play, at least as long as Mirrodin is still in Standard. Then again, this might not be too bad in limited.
