All tokens should be like this instead of putting dumb advertisements on the back, it would be easier to get a lot of each token if they were paired like that.
I'm longing for multiple monitor support. To be able to move windows like Chat, ally's hand etc to the other monitor and free up space on the screen to see that actual field would be amazing. Playing a lot of Multiplayer (particularily 2HG) it gets frustrating having so little usable room with so much wasted. I remember V1 and V2...the chat interface was far better, even the ingame interface was more usable.
This is working in the V4 beta. The game, game lobby, chat, and main client are all separate windows instead of tabs within one window. You can put them wherever you want. I've been putting my chat windows on my right monitor along with whatever else and the game screen maximized on my left monitor.
While I understand what they're trying to do here, it does leave a bad taste in my mouth. This is a very slippery slope to take. Enacting new rules a week later and applying them to a tournament the previous week feels... wrong.
It's an interesting question. If the opponent plays Splinter Twin and then immediately says make a million dudes and swing, is he locked into that decision?
For instance, if I were to stop him and ask him to go through it step by step, he may suspect I have the Nature's Claim and not activate the combo. Is he allowed to essentially take back activating the combo because I'm asking him to go back in time, or is he locked into the decision of starting the combo when he says "make a million dudes"?
"After your you make your first copy, with the untap trigger on the stack, I nature's claim your splinter twin."
Easy as that. Don't ask him to go back step by step, just insert yourself into his loop.
If this is successful and they spread it to the real draft formats, then I feel like there will be a substantial increase in single prices due to the stunted number of packs being opened.
Wow, I'm surprised they actually printed this. A good white enchantment that completely neuters R and B decks and demands every other deck run enchantment removal and/or bounce? Awesome. A 4-of in every white deck as long as it's legal. Of course, it does point to Wizards pushing mill as as an alternate win-con during INN. Why else print a card the so obviously hoses all decks that depend on damage, including infect?
Except the monstrosity enters the battlefield already having the counters on it, its not a triggered ability, they aren't placed on it, it simply has them. Melira and Torpor orb both don't stop it from getting the -1/-1 counters.
When Conspiracy was in Standard, the best thing you could do with it was name "Mercenary" and make a crappy tribe slightly less crappy. There are a lot more uses for the card in this environment (Allies, and possibly Golem tribal depending on the quality of some of these Splicers) and the color makes a lot more sense too.
Heh, this card naming golem and a precursor golem on the field make for some silly interactions. Go for the throat is now a non-artifact wrath of god!
I feel like I'm repeating myself waaay too often in this thread...
7 mana is easily ramped into. Green loves this guy.
Exiling a card in hand is really best when YOU are exiling.
Restarting the game and time restraints arn't an issue because you'll be exiling two GREAT things like a Primevil Titan (who starts you with 2 lands and a huge beast, then you play another threat) and just about anything else, including another land. So starting the game over with a Titan and 4 lands on turn one pretty much gives them no other option but to scoop. Unless you are bluffing hardcore, you're not going to set off that ability until it's worth your time and promises the game win.
So you spend all your ramp getting karn out turn 4, only to exile the best cards from your own hand at least twice (turn 4+5) and hoping the opponent (who has gotten to goldfish against you) hasn't done ANY damage to karn at all, nor removed him from the game, you get to ultimate him on turn 6 with your free 2 cards from your hand you exiled.
Or you know you could have just played that titan turn 4 and already won, since your opponent is playing 60lands.dec
Not to mention the more likely playout of the above scenario is you spend all that work exiling your best cards from your own hand and karn gets killed or into the roiled or hexmaged.
Well, Prototype Portal plus Everflowing Chalice and Voltaic Key could be an infinite mana combo. Chalice with n counters, exile the key with the portal, tap the chalice, pay for the key, untap the chalice, you have n-2 mana left. Wash, rinse and repeat.
I hope ya know what to do with the infinite mana

Great job Wydogg! Keep it up!
Looks like someone noticed your post :-P
It's a turn 2 tempo loss to switch to the signet. I've very frequently had turn 2 plays of talisman --> ancient stirrings.

I think you misread this card...
Melira does, torpor doesn't.

Sword of Light and Shadow
Returning a creature from your graveyard to your hand sounds pretty situational to me.
So how're you gonna untap prototype portal then?
