Snow can officially kiss my ass.

I won't be making it to the prerelease in Rockville.

    I. Hate. Snow.

Yeah, I pointed that out in the Genju of the Cedars thread... Just figure out where text would be placed on that card. Look at Genju of the Cedars. Change Forest to Swamp. No line breaks change. Change green to black. Same there. Now change "until end of turn" to "with" and put the quote mark on the third line. Notice the BIG GAPING HOLE that's left? Room enough for the words "fear and," perhaps?

I think that the 6th is most likely a enchant legendary land and is probably in green(the colour of land animation). The card with possible 1st turn kills in standard is most likely blazing shoal, there's a thread about the possibility in the rumoured cards section.

Personally i think that dispite the lack of trample anything that can beat for 4 on the 3rd turn is pretty good and will be at least a medium high pick in limited.

This can beat for 4 on second turn. First turn Forest, Genju of the Cedars; second turn land, activate Genju, swing. :grin2:

EDIT 2: Or not. Rick's an idiot. Don't mind Rick Woods here. Moving right along...

EDIT: Does anyone see what I'm talking about with Genju of the Fens??

On the pic of Genju of the Fens, you can see a quote mark where the text "B: This creatures gets +1/+1 until end of turn" most likely starts. However, if you look at Genju of the Cedars, there is way to much room for just "... Spirit creature with" before that, considering you just change Forest to Swamp and green to black. I'm thinking there's text on there we haven't been told of/haven't thought of yet... possibly we are missing the words "fear and"?

Does anyone see what I'm talking about or am I just crazy?

I think it would be most useful with defensive enchantments like Pacifism or Cage of Hands... It's a nice pick in a draft if you're tight on creatures and have a Cage or two already. It's good in the casual Spirit deck; fetching a Cage or Pacifism once or twice every turn could turn the game around.

Honestly, this is the type of card I like previewed. Higure, Fumiko, and Toshiro are certainly good, but they're rare and they don't really whey my appetite since I mostly look at the commons and uncommons as I'm a constructed casual and draft player mostly.

Since someone mentioned it, I figured I'd get it started...

    4 Suntail Hawk
    4 Lantern Kami
    4 Bushi Tenderfoot
    4 Indomitable Will

    4 Mistblade Shinobi
4 Ninja of the Deep Hours
    4 some Ninja
    2 some other Ninja
    2 Higure, the Still Wind

    3 Unsummon
    3 Serum Visions

    12 Island
    10 Plains

I like Unsummon alongside Mistblade for lots of bouncin' action. I like Serum Visions alongside Deep Hours for lots of drawin' action.

And I LOVE Higure. It draws comparisons to Lin Sivvi for a lot of folks. Now, I didn't play back then, but I do know that this card has some serious potential. By itself, it's three damage a turn, guaranteed, and since you're fetching more Ninjas, that number goes up each turn.

Alright, so maybe something like this:

    3 Hana Kami
    4 Dripping-Tongue Zubera
    4 Ashen-Skin Zubera
    2 Budoka Pupil
    2 Rootrunner
    2 Burr Grafter
    3 Thief of Hope
    3 Soilshaper

    2 Devouring Greed
    4 Kodama's Might
    4 Kodama's Reach
    2 Hideous Laughter
    3 Rend Flesh

    11 Forest
    11 Swamp

Yes, the no rares thing is intentional... See, I buy 1/2 box of each set, and then don't buy any more cards after that. Everything else I get from trades, so it's hard to find the rares I want for my casual decks and keep my one tournament deck up to speed.

OK... here's my list at this point. I still need to get some of the cards (Budoka Pupil, obviously...) I like Budoka Pupil because you can wait to flip him if you want, so he's a "legend" that isn't necessarily dead if you already have one out. I'd like to play Reach because I'd like to see Soilshaper in action. So this is what I've got:

    4 Hana Kami
    4 Dripping-Tongue Zubera
    4 Ashen-Skin Zubera
    4 Budoka Pupil
    4 Thief of Hope
    4 Soilshaper

    3 Devouring Greed
    4 Kodama's Might
    4 Kodama's Reach
    3 Hideous Laughter
    4 Rend Flesh

    11 Forest
    11 Swamp

EDIT: As long as I'm considering Betrayers cards... What about Forked-Tounge Gerashi (the double Soulshift spirit)? What do people think of that? You don't play it till turn 5 (maybe 4), and it shouldn't die till like turn 7 (this is casual, so the game should last that long)... is the double Soulshift cool or just crap? Oh yeah, and Green's Frostling friend too.

I'm thinking of building a G/B Kamigawa block Spirit/Arcane deck for casual play. I was wondering what the general consensus was on which cards are good and which aren't.

Hana Kami - obviously good if Kodama's Reach/Might get played; obviously bad if they don't
    Soilshaper
    Feral Deceiver
    Kami of the Hunt
    Kami of the Waning Moon
    Theif of Hope
    Cruel Deceiver
    Wicked Akuba
    Sensei's Divining Top
    Long-Forgotten Gohei
    Kodama's Reach/Might

Anything I'm missing? Anything I'm saying is good that most people wouldn't even consider?

See, that list up there is just too long for me, and I want to play four copies of each ('cept for Top, of course) in a sixty card deck. Doesn't leave much room for land...

    Any help?

Do we have a place to put a compiled spoiler of all the cards we know so far?

    Am I blind?

If we don't, I'd be happy to host one. Let me know.

Shouldn't the ability "T: The next time..." have the word "redirect" in it?

Good eye, I think it would have to say redirect for it to be right in magicease.
I got say that they are fake. 95%

    End Quote

Actually, they don't use "redirect" anymore. In fact, check the Oracle text for the en-Kor creatures; it's been changed to something similar to what's on the mentioned card. Also, check the Comprehensive Rules glossary -- the entry for Redirect is marked as Obsolete.

Just thought I'd throw this out there even though the cards are confirmed.
