I don't see what the big deal is against Diggy either. Being able to both use a night ability and pass an item is clearly allowed within the rules and choosing to guard a claimed mason rather than a claimed Harry Potter isn't bad either.
For the 2 v 7 match, I attack with both and let Tactician block ravager. I can keep attacking if he goes to get tactician back, and on the second attack there will only either be tactician back to block or just karakas, neither of which is sufficient to deal with the attack, so he has to play for the draw.
I think that highlander solves all of our current problems without any other rules needed. It makes combo much tougher to pull off by nerfing rite of flame and SSG. It prevents manamorphose from making storm too good, and it makes it so that you don't have to answer the same combo attempt multiple times from a player. Also, anti-mana rules can randomly nerf fair but fun plays like mana reflection and Rites of Flourishing.
But Kraj doing something scummy doesn't in some way exonerate you from scummy actions. It can show that Kraj is scummy too, but it doesn't show that you aren't.

The above is an improperly labeled post.
So is there any rule justification for automatically winning a clash?
Bilbroxain, the discard is irrelevant to the reaction. The reaction is to a part of the turn prior to the discarding of hands.
