anyone have anymore suggestions? what do you think I should take out to add mirrorweave.
I may not be the best on advice for you, but I can give you a few ideas. You could remove the Grixis Grimblade to the sideboard at least to try out the Mirrorweave. The Grixis Grimblade isn't really all that necessary when you're pumping out Zombie Tokens every turn. Also, you're not running that many high cost cards in your deck, but you're running 24 lands (including the borderposts). You could consider dropping two of each base land, to make an even 20 lands, and the put in Mirrorweave (if running 4) and some other cards if not.
This is just a small twist of the deck you threw at me MonoBlackOut (do you prefer MBO?). It wouldn't cost me nearly as much to construct as I already own most of the cards, but do you think it would still hold it's own?
I know some of the choices seem sort of random but I had to work with what I had. The idea is to get out the Mayael's Aria, the Mossbridge Troll and other creatures for a total of power 10 or more. During the opponents end step I then tap enough creature to give the Troll +20/+20 and automatically win with Mayael's Aria in my upkeep. It actually works pretty well in games I've played with it.
Does anybody have any suggestions on any better cards to run (I know there must be some at least) or any comments on the idea in general? Thanks
Seems doable, but the Mutavault, and especially Elspeth might be a little out of my immediate grasp for price. Honestly, I don't see much in the Esper Charm, but maybe I'm just not thinking of many uses. And complete elimination of the Mind Funeral doesn't strike me right. I think that that card works really well with Cemetery Reaper's ability. What's your take on that?
I don't know about the Sleep, I usually finish the game before 2 blue make the field. The Marauder is simply in the main deck due to Door of Destinies, and usually ends up subbed for a Doom Blade or Deathmark. As for Door of Destinies I drop a Cemetery Reaper or Death Baron and give all of my Zombies +2/+2. As for the Tidehollow Sculler, it seems to be worth looking into, but I don't know what I'd take out. Any suggestions on that or how you think my deck would do in competitive play?
Any comments or such would be really appreciated and any suggestions even more so :grin3:. Again, cost really isn't much of a problem as long as we're not talking like over 60 bucks or so. Reflecting pools and filter lands might be a little much for now.
Thanks for the advice. I think I'll look into the Liliana Vess and the Nameless Invasion. The invasion could easily replace the Pacifism. I am going to do Doom Blade instead of Path to Exile for the Main deck as well.
As for why I use the Necromancer's Covenant, sure it conflicts with Cemetery Reaper, but it gains me lifelink, and does his job faster. The idea behind it is to hit them with Mind Funeral for multiple creatures, use the Necromancer's, and then hit them with the Lich Lord of Unx's second ability for even more milling and damage.
I don't really plan on dropping the White anytime soon, so I may look into the Esper Charm, but I'm not sure what I'd drop for it.
This is my deck so far. I think it's pretty good for being standard, but I don't know what the general opinion will be. Any feedback or tips you can give will be appreciated. I'm going to keep it standard, but budget is no limit. Tell me any cards that you think would really help, and what to take out for them.
