Where is megadeth? Where is iron maiden? Where is rush? And why the HELL is metallica on that list? Excuse me, I'm going to go stick my head in the oven.

I've seen it and can vouch for it's awesomeness. Since I don't know how to do that cool spoiler thing, I'll just say that it's worth watching. My friend's who had read the book said it followed it quite well, except for how the setting was changed a hundred years :p

EvilDuck, you have made me a happy man. A link to one of my magic articles in your sig, I feel honored. Do you visit Getc frequently? I used to be pretty active in the community, until I had a bit of a run-in with some of the mods...

On topic: meekstone's a pretty gross card in the right deck. Imagine what big red would look like if it had access to it? Oh no, my arc-slogger doesn't untap but I can still shock anything and everything that moves. It's definately a good card, but it doesn't appear to be WotC's habbit to make/reprint good cards Wink

EDIT: bah, you removed the link like a second after I posted this :tongue2:

That's really strange. My friend with UNDER the minimum specs can get it working fine. It may be the memory, but I'm betting it's something else. Have you rebooted since you installed it? Stupid question I know, but a lot of people forget that solves 50% of all computer problems. Hope you get it working.

I'm no computer expert, but I think that's enough memory to play it. You may have something else wrong with your comp, but if not, it's probably about time to get a new memory card anyways.

The beauty of this game is the fact that almost any computer can play it with little or no problems. If you can play WC3, you can play this fine Smile

GW and WoW play completely differently, for more reasons than I'd care to mention here. I've played both extensively, enjoyed both, but eventually settled on GW because of the no monthly fee + the game is based on skill, not hundreds of hours grinding to get "1337" so you can go "pwn sum n00bz" in the PvP.

Plenty_Purple, I'm sorry you feel that way. Yes, the quests in the beginning are easy and repetitive, but that's so people can get a feel for how the game works before being thrown into the extremely difficult missions after you hit level 20. I have no idea what you mean by "the sprites are ugly" though...the game has some of the prettiest graphics I've ever seen, and it even works on low-end computers with 56k internet connections, which is great because it lets all of my friends play even without powerful computers or fast connections.

Me and a group of friends currently have a guild up and running (Delta Green [DG]), and were currently in the process of winning a sigil to get the guild hall from the Hall of Heroes. Unfortunately, only me and a few other members have any experience with the game's PvP, while most people are focused on the roleplaying part. If anyone here has any experience or familiarity at all with guild wars PvP, please either PM me here or whisper me in-game (my two roleplaying characters are The Human Torch (lv20el/me) and Gon Waterseed (lv10mo/wa)). Even if you dont PvP, ask about joining our guild anyways. We have regular PvP training sessions in which we bring a group of guild members into the tomb of primeval kings just to show them the ropes. We're a developing guild and always accept new recruits, so dont be afraid to talk to me about it! (im one of the guilds 3 officers-speciffically in charge of recruiting as you can probably tell Smile )

Just to point something out, cthulhu is definately NOT a demon. Cthulhu and the demon are completely unrelated. Either that or DB doesn't have his facts straight Smile

I guess I'll jump into the whole KoL discussion. I've got 3 characters all level 7:

    omgimonfire is my sauceror
    anchorman is my disco bandit
    bigstick is my seal clubber

I'd be interested in joining your clan with one of those characters, or all if you'd like. Now, for the whole cthulhu thing. Cthulhu doesn't exactly sacrifice people to summon demons, so I highly doubt the demon has anything to do with the cthulhu cult (unless DB hasn't read enough lovecraft, eh? eh?)

Faydh, that just seems too easy. I'm all for outsmarting crazy demon things that wanna kill us, but I doubt it'll work like we think. Meh, I'll do like you say, I just wanted to say that this might not end how we'd like it to.

Aaaahhh! Don't boot me! I've been following the thread, but I'd like to hold my vote and action until I have a reason to use them.

Wha? I'm posting now, in case not posting within 100 is a bad thing. Heh, nice implementing of cthulhu. But I have a question: why wasn't I in it!? Aaaaaa *dies in a fire*

Wow, magic will reach a new low for the people at my shop if they name some japaneese themed card a hired muscle. There's a card in the cthulhu card game called that, and it would just be retarded to see a thug and a spirit or whatever have the same name. Just my opinion, thought it should be said that the naming department for magic needs serious attention.
