Also, if anyone else is using magicdrafting.com to generate sealed pools, quite a number of them have typos in the name so they won't show up in Cockatrice unless you manually edit them in your .cod/.dek files. This might have been fixed since I made a bunch of sealed decks on there yesterday though. Just thought I'd mention it so people don't assume something is wrong with the XML file.
Just extract this to the Deck Djinni root dir and you should be good to go. There might be some typos since this spoiler was generated from the MTG Salvation spoilers, if you find any, please let me know, thanks!
Yeah, I think he's crazy powerful for a common. I was playtesting M15 sealed in MWS and I just got destroyed by a guy running 3 of these. Didn't help that I had already cast 2 Satyr Wayfinders though.
So sorry guys, I've been out of the loop regarding Magic for the last year or so, but getting back into things now. I just updated Deck Djinni with Theros block and Magic 2015. Enjoy, and let me know if you encounter any problems. You will have to re-download the program as the code has changed as bit since last time.
Thanks! One thing though, the Artifacts and Lands are coming up with Card Color: X.
To fix, just do a Search/Replace in notepad for "Card Color: X" and replace with either "Card Color: Art" OR "Card Color: Lnd".
As for how to add the set to MWS:
1. With the master DB opened and selected in the top portion of Library Mode (Classic), go to Tools -> Analyze/Add/Remove Sets ...
2. Add New Edition, Edition Name "Magic 2015", edition key "M15", path to spoiler = browse to the text spoiler OP posted, click next
3. Don't forget to SAVE the top DB or you will have to do it all over again
Actually, after doing a bunch of testing I don't think Deck Djinni is the issue. I believe it will depend on which MWS patch you used. Mine doesn't appear to have any typos, and Mythics are working for DGM and M14 normally. I believe for one of the sets they were just listed as Rare in MWS and I had to manually edit each of the entries.
Thanks for the M14 pics by the way.
I have to fix Dragon's Maze however, as I wasn't aware of the new land distribution in the packs. Since this is completely new, I'll actually have to do a bit of coding for the next update, but it shouldn't take me very long. Also, I hope to add Modern Masters and the previous Masters Editions 1-4 in the next patch.
So sorry guys for not updating in forever. I just updated the patch file with all sets up to and including Dragon's Maze.
Life's been really busy lately, and I haven'y played MTG in almost a year. Getting back into it now (finally) so updates should come regularly from now on.
New patch has been released up to and including Dark Ascension. Let me know if you encounter any bugs, but it should be working fine. You can download it here: http://www.mediafire.com/?f5fct41jotxc619
I apologise for the extended delays in getting this out, I have been extremely busy with my new job these past few months but I fully intend to continue my support of Deck Djinni.
Thanks for the input. I'm going to work on implementing the changes you suggested, and I'll have something for you in a couple days. I'll start working on the draft simulator in the next few days as well, but for now I'll get the crashing issue fixed, relocate the Cubes folder and allow you to cancel saving.
Sorry about that, I don't check the boards very often, so I didn't read your reply until now.
As for the error you're receiving, are you running the python script file, or the executable? The save window not closing until you have saved your deck is done by design, but I've been considering changing it.
It's certainly a possibility that I could expand the program to include drafts; I've actually been thinking about that myself recently. To be honest, I've been giving some serious thought to designing an entirely open-source alternative to MWS and incorporating Deck Djinni and a draft simulator into it, but that would be quite the undertaking.
As for moving the folder "Cubes", I can easily move that into the "DeckDjinni" folder.
As for the VC++ runtime dependency, I can't remove it as it is a core dependency of wxpython which Deck Djinni's GUI is programmed in.
Let me know if you want me to proceed with these changes.
Oops! Sorry folks, I forgot to change something in the code before I compiled it last time it seems. I've re-uploaded the executable and source code so they should work without errors now.
rpgmem, as for including Deck Djinni in your MWS Easy Install package, that would be great. I put together an archive specifically for you to use. What you'll do is just extract the archive to the root MWS directory. The DeckDjinni .exe file will be in the DeckDjinni subdirectory. Let me know if this works for you. Here's the link..
Just added these fixes to my version of the XML posted above.
Just added it to my XML file in above post
BTW, there were a few cards that were missing image URLs in the XML so I went ahead and added them myself. You can download the updated XML file here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/wcp0gkbs0ce2vpv/SOI.xml

Edit: The land distribution in DGM has also been fixed.
