Probably the funniest thing about the deck is that one game was decided by a turn-1 Plague Beetle, turn-2 Unholy Strength against a guy playing B/G. The game lasted 6 turns, total. Another thing that was odd about the tournedy was that every match I played ended up 2-0 or 0-2
Peel From Reality looks nuts. Assuming there are ANY good 187 creatures that are part-blue, it becomes an absolutely evil trick, along the lines of the Serrow-Witness trick (almost exatly like it, actually)
Try out Honden of Cleansing Fire. Trust me, you'll like it for this deck. Oh, and make it 4 copies of Zur, AT LEAST 22 land, and probably Mana Leak/Rewind. You want to be able to defend against their combo disruption (IE Cranial and Jester's)
Hmmm... Assuming you go the U/W control style of this, you may want to bring in Keiga or Yosei.
The entire idea is just a very entertaining control-style. Shurikens give me a chance against pingers, and often clears a path for the Ninjas when Higure isn't available. Neko-Te makes blocking my Ninjas a tough prospect, especially when I'm about to ram a Mistblade into a single massive creature (this has kept Darksteel Colossi at bay in the past). The deck has two real win conditions: Higure and Keiga. The rest of the deck is pretty much dedicated to keeping my opponent off-balance and slow, until I draw into my kills.
My idea is based on block Snakes, utilizing Reclaim and Coat of Arms. I figure that the swarm-style could get much more dangerous with Coat on the field, and Reclaim gives me a way to bring back the legends should they die. I'm still working on a decklist, but what do you think of the basic idea?
Hmmm, I've been testing with a copy of the card Yomiji, Who Bars the Way. It is sickeningly effective. THe trick is to get two Yosei, the Morning Star onto the board while he's out, and you've established a nigh-unbreakable hardlock. All you have to do is replay them, one each turn, while Yomiji swings into the red zone.
For the stumpers, 3 and 10, my votes go to Inspirit and Giant Growth, and I don't know what is making #10 so hard. I mean, it's a picture of a green creature getting bigger.
I personally don't like running more than 3 of anything legendary, even Jitte. 2 and 2 Manriki sounds fine to me, since Manriki will win the Jitte-war every time. 3 and 1 would probably be best, though.
