The 3/1 is eh, sure its got a decent ability but at 1BB, black is deeper than that. Its annoying in the beginning, but falls to burn easily. Not to mention chump blocked by snake things, although 2 for 1. The other two become quite good in the right decks, the control a orge/demon conditions if met provide decent cards for those 8th-11th picks.
well then it would be 3 mana, target defending player sacrifice 2 creature...
seems good enough to me...
(or they take 3 damage, either way, it's good for me...)
hint : use the hundred talon kami to add 1st strike, and for a 1-2 card advantage, and the ogre would still be there to attack next turn...
i think there's a lot better choices for a sligh deck...

well you don't really have to cast this guy, you can use him in combo with another spoiled card named sleeping, sumbering, whatever tora... (check my sig)...

i think this would make an interesting combo with that red flipper that can gain control of target creature...

and it can be done in limited, since the red flipper is only an uncommon...

but in limited, any kind of removal if welcomed...
(not too many creatures with 4 toughness...)
and for the black one, it would definitely be high pick in limited...
but in constructed, you would have to put it in mono-black deck...
(since it required a swamp to work...)
actually, it doesn't effectively "reduces" spam...
it would make people create post that has more "oomph" into it...
(better quality posts i mean, no word in english can explain the word that i mean... at least that's the best that i can comeup with...)
by increasing the quality of the post, you'd probably "reduces" the amount of spam... (but not reducing the amount of posts...)

It's obviously still garbage, especially since we haven't seen any good splice spells for this set yet, and there's no dominant splice deck in block that I know of. But at least it explains things a bit. Sorry for the confusion
